ITT: Job interviews that went wrong

>apply for a manager role at a local factory
>they invite me for roughly 45 minutes chat
>at one point they hand me some math tests to solve
>I'm completely retarded when it comes to math
>panic
>pretend I left the stove on and run out

Youre not retarded at math its just that schools are lazy and teach you how to use a calculator and so you never learn how to do it yourself manually.

>Apply to job on craigslist titled as a pharmacy assistant... write a personalized cover letter and cater my resume for this job specifically. Job lists an hourly wage (16 an hour but I was a student and live in Canada), stable hours, ect... in other words no get rich quick bullshit.
I get a call the next day to schedule an interview. I'm excited because I need money, and agree to an interview the next day. I'm given info about the pharmacy, and am told they just moved locations.
I show up to what looks like an abandoned building. I hesitantly go in and see an quaint office space, and am told to sit down. My interviewer greets me and asks if I'm ready to learn more about the financial adviser position. I ask him what he's talking about as I applied for a PHARMACY ASSISTANT job and no other jobs that week. He acts confused at first but then admits to his lie as he "just needed to share with me an amazing financial opportunity" and my resume was a great fit.
I felt lied to and pretty upset so I wanted to leave... but he wouldn't let me because he felt that I "could find massive success in the company". He blocked the door and told me to just watch a short video, and then decide. I was pretty scared so I just sat down and let him show me the 30 minute video, which was for a pyramid scheme company called Primerica. He tried to get me to pay $100 to start and kept hassling me to sign up. At one point he literally put the pen in my hand and ordered me to sign. I managed to convince him that I need to go outside to call my bank first and booked it out of there as soon as I was out the door.
TL;DR - I was suckered into a Primerica pyramid scheme recruitment with the promise of an actual job interview. I ended up researching him after and it turns out he's been doing this for a while in my city.

>apply for wagecuck job in some office in the city (been NEET for 4 years at that point)
>show up for the interview but it requires a keycard to get inside the building
>want to sneak in as the cleaning lady goes outside just like in my videogames
>she notices and says loud "Mister you can't walk in there" people walking past are already looking
>I'm like "uh...I....uh gotta go in now....." while attempting to walk backwards into the building

Lmao I should've said "It's obvious it pays poorly, I pass" and walked out. Probably paid minimum wage or close to it and I think it required experience.

I have a similar confusing interview at confusing location story.

>my older brother's old friend from highschool was running a startup company that had some early success
>brother arranges an interview for me
>get address of the place
>apparently the old army barracks had been rented out as office space
>find small cement building with robust as fuck double doors serving as an entrance
>place looks like a bunker inside
>come around a corner and see an open room with several desks arranged in the middle and people eating lunch at them
>go to first desk and ask for the guy
>turns out the guy i asked was the guy I was looking for
>"you're early" he says.
>he seemed legitimately annoyed at my 10 minute early arrival
>i explain place is a maze and I didn't want to get lost and be late
>do interview
>don't get the job

Family connection and everything, no hire. Ridiculous. I was easily qualified for the job too.
