It's pretty fucked but nothing that can't be salvaged (unless you lack the ability to learn anything.. in which case you're fucked).

If I were in your position I'd find what job you want to do. Try to determine something that wouldn't completely suck for you, that is high paying that you could reasonably obtain in 5-10 years.
Whether that's one of the trades, or computer science or some shit, then work towards that. If you need to pay for school, find a shit tier job as a telemarketer, laborer, cashier, or something, and save your money towards paying for school.

Worst case, you end up learning skills that can be applied to your life.
Best case you're able to independently support yourself and save/invest money, and have an actual decent life.

Don't give up on yourself NEET-kun. First thing you need to do is admit to your mistakes and habits that got you there in the first place, then correct your behavior by keeping a log and maintaining goals. Start going to the gym, reading, and immediately apply for a trade. Electricians will make $40+ an hour right out of the program, and you'll be making serious money from year 2 on. Live frugally, invest in cryptos, and you'll make it. I've seen 35 year old NEETs turn their life around, and you can too. Godspeed.

All it takes is putting together a plan and following through. It sounds like you don't even have a plan yet, so put one together. Look you want to get out of your parents place, right? To have money to spend how you want? The bottom line is you need money, the way your life is going right now, you're not getting it. So what can you do to get money? Get a job, start a business, whatever. Figure out what it takes to get that job you want or to have that business you want.

It will be easy to just not follow your own plan, to decide to stop at any point along the way, but that will put you right back where you started. So even though it will suck along the way, it will be an improvement if you just stick with it.

My experience has been that the simplest and most obvious fixes are the best and most efficacious.
- proper sleep schedule
- gym routine that you stick to like you'll die if you don't, this doesn't mean killing yourself at the gym and pretending to be Arnold, but rather just getting there on time and doing your thing and leaving
- proper diet. Keep it simple—cut out the stuff that screams obvious junk food. Minimal Oreos, minimal binging on cheese flavored cracker-biscuits, minimal candy. Aim for meat, dairy. Protein and fat.
- drugs/supplements/vitamins/etc

After that comes mindset but that's a bit harder, the above stuff is easy and is a matter of simply doing it—literally just going through the motions. Fix the above and you will be halfway there IMO.

I'm in a similar situation as you OP....

If you really want a legitimate excuse.... blame inflation like I do. How you going to make it even in an investment banking job makin 150k a year when inflation will eat you Alive.

If you made 150k a year your expenses would be high enough that you would be just as miserable as you are now.

Get a job and buy gold. The dollar is about to implode this year. If you have even just 5 ounces of
Gold you'll make it after golds get
Revalued in an overnight revaluation to 50k per ounce. Which is 250k.... but
The best part is... assets will decline upwards of 90%. So those 5 ounces of gold will buy you 5 homes in the new currency. Rent out no mortgage and fuck lots of babes.

But, since I am open minded, I would like to hear the reasoning behind the impending doom of the dollar. Also why not just crypto if the dollar is bound to die? Why gold?

>> No.8908471

>>8908442
I've been into health and fitness for years and the short version is that it's best to do something similar to a Starting Strength 5x5 sort of routine with barbells. The truth, though, is just that doing anything at all with proper form is good for you. Even just using the machines and not hurting yourself is miles ahead of doing nothing.

So you want an easy way to start—hit the gym and do a row substitute (pull-ups, lat pulldown, rowing machine), a squat/deadlift substitute (leg press machine, hamstring curl, whatever), and a bench press substitute (chest press machine, etc.). Yeah, these are not true substitutes, but they get you halfway there and will at least guarantee that you won't have a hard time, flop, and give up.

What I'm getting at is that you should have a core routine, do it three days a week, do some cardio two days a week, and take two off days. What you do is not important.

The important thing is to build that routine and get to a point where you feel bad skipping it, not just emotionally but physically. Once it's a habit, you will literally feel better both emotionally and physically by continuing to go.
