Knew about it at about $11. Attended a get together where partners at my lawfirm had a big conversation about how it was certain to be banned or regulated into worthlessness in the very near future. So I didn't buy any, and forgot about it until 2015 when I read about some guy who bought like $200 worth when it was pennies cashing out. I thought "wow, I should have bought in; guess I missed out" and then forgot about it again until 2018...

Literally remember BTC at 6 cents and /g/ general threads. I remember the celebrations at 12 cents. Barrier to entry was very difficult back in the day. Payment and storage screamed "scam"

I maintain that it wasn't "smart money" that accumulated it was just pure luck that Bitcoin caught on. Further, most people who did buy at Rock bottom prices probably sold at $10 or $100 and I think the pain of selling early is worse than simply not knowing at all
