ex Miners are selling their GPU's now that crypto was provena fad and a burst bubble

They are NOT SAYING they were mining GPU's

SPREAD THE WORD. and not boycott all 2nd hand GPUs. Let the miners hold the bags as penance for their sins

Not only that but brand new GPUs are going back to MSRP. These miner fags are trying to sell them for MORE than MSRP. Anyone who buys one of these deserves whatever happens to them.

There's cards on Ebay going for $600+ right now that were used. The faggots are relisting them as well thinking they can get MORE. I hope it all comes crashing down on them. I wasn't anti-mining until I saw their bullshit. They're not ready to swallow their pride clearly.

ethereum miners UNDERCLOCK the GPU chipset and only overclock the memory.

Also most of the changes done to a mining card are done via BIOS tweaks to memory timing and it's easy to reverse (and they do reverse it) before selling.

You might say I'm biased because I operate a mid-sized GPU farm. But all my GPU's operate at 50-60 degrees Celsius and the GPU fan speed is capped at 55%. The main cooling is done by external high speed fans that blow cold air through the whole mining rig. Also I have a cold row/hot row setup in my datacenter with dust filters.

Now compare this with a "modern" gaming setup where they jam their GPUs into as small as possible case (no ventilation possible) and where the temperature rises to 80-90 degrees Celsius with fans spinning at closet to 100%. How often do they clean their little junkboxes? They are usually full of dust which can cause static electricity discharge and damage the electronics.

also short AMA before I'm bored

Ahahahah. How does it feel to be broke ass faggots who can’t afford a fucking GPU? If you weren’t dumb manchildren you could’ve get on the crypto train with your current setup and get enough to buy a rig, but you chose to spend your time on playing AAA garbage.

All the poorfags here make this a shit topic. It's 90% complaining.

You can either buy the used card for MSRP + 10-20% or not game at all. It's the current market so suck it up.

I started with RX470-480 4GB in February last year. These were the best cards, very easy to bios mod and you could undervolt them like a boss.

Later I bought 48 units of RX570 8GB. Basically almost same as the 470-480, but they run on more power with a slightly higher hashrate.

I also started mining equihash with 1080ti and later with 1070 and 1070ti. I also tried 1080 but this card is bad for mining. If you guys are looking for a card that was never mined on, go for 1080 (the memory is very strange and doesn't allow for high ETH hashrates, the card still works OK for equihash but is less flexible due to the memory quirkiness and thus doesn't allow to switch between different mining algos, this makes it less attractive for miners).

I never tried the dedicated mining cards from ATI or NVIDIA.

Yes and it's all organised by Jew-reptiles who are controlled by Bogs. I'm on team Sminem and we will turn the tide you lizard worshipping scum.

I have repaid my GPUs as I sell on bull runs and hold during dips. I'm currently mining and hodling.

I'm not selling my GPUs at this point of time as there is no reason to. The global hashrate is going down which allows me to mine more coins for myself.

the prices of GPUs will go down the longer this bear market will last. Once the bull starts, the GPUs will be again in high demand and price will rise.

When did you buy your GPUs?

I intend to mine at least 2 years (1 year done). With your setup, they will die and you will have to either buy replacement fans from china, return them to manufacturer who will not replace them but they will give you credit. This means if you bought at a low price and they die now, you won't be able to buy the same card with the credit they give you. It's cheaper to take care of your HW then to trash them.
