ETH is the most based coin

1. Everyone shits on ETH. They also buy tokens built on ETH contracts.
2. There have been new "Ethereum Killers" every year, none of them have succeeded, none will
3. ETH has more use cases and adoption than any other cryptomeme
4. The devs do not give a fuck and will improve the protocol quickly rather than try to stick to dead ideals

Prove me wrong
you cant

bitcoin cash is enabling several opcodes may 15, enabling something similar to smart contracts. will be interesting if anyone does anything with it.

>2. There have been new "Ethereum Killers" every year, none of them have succeeded, none will
Oh, boy, how I have been laughing at this for almost a year now. So many fucking "ETH killers" or "Ethereum 2.0s":
Antshares, NEM, QTUM, IOTA, Cardano, BCH with OPcodes, BTC with Rootstock, LISK, Bitshares, Stratis, Waves, Decred, Stellar, Ardor, XBY, Skycoin, Nxt, ...(insert a dozen more)... and currently EOS.

All these projects have a marketing team or hype community trying to make you believe that their own brand of shitproject will overcome Ethereum (a platform which already hosts ~50% of assets on CMC). And that they will achieve all that within the next 6 months, so better start accumulating. kek, this is delusion and hype following. Only few of these Ethereum wannabe coins have over 2 tokens on their platform so far. Most of them don't have any.

Yes, Ethereum will have real competition at some point, but straight up believing that out of all of these, your shitcoin is going to be the one to provide that competition, is wishful thinking. Furthermore, thinking that it will happen soon, is just refusal to live in reality.

Yes, Ethereum is having trouble with TPS (because it is the most used crypto network by far), but by the time your shitcoin will start to get anywhere, Ethereum will also have upgraded by then. Don't think scaling for Ethereum is not planned and in development already.

BCH is different because of all the support it has from the people involved early in the days of Bitcoin. OPcodes aren't enabled yet but if there's a crypto that will take on ETH it's going to be BCH.

ETH is still an alt. Alts crash harder than BTC when BTC crashes, are you new?
Also, this hype market run in December was largely due to shit ERC20 tokens, they're dying so their big daddy eth will die too
Finally, ICOs are mostly paid in ETH, these projects are holding onto millions of ETH which they will dump on the market slowly and suppress the price.

EOS is coming for you anon. Check ethereum sentiment recently. People started to get tired of Vitalik's shit. Ethereum hosted way too many scam coins and the 50% projects on CMC that you mention are almost all scams. Projects are maturing now, and the dump is coming regardless of your wishful thinking that ethereum is currently invincible. You can continue trying to cope with it but the fact is that ethereum is at its last dying breaths and people are starting to wake up. I would be worried holding any ETH this year

I agree that BCH would have much more chance of making the grade than most of the others I listed. But again, once (or even if) the OPcodes will be enabled, there wont suddenly be hundreds of dev teams jumping to make a Dapp on BCH. It will go slowly and take a lot of time (1-2 years) at least. Most Dapp developers are used to ETH for the moment still.

ETH killer prophets can start with themselves. Ethereum will not be killed anytime soon.

So many people here were convinced last summer that NEO will be the one to overthrow ETH. But almost no dev has still gotten around to making Dapps on NEO. After NEOs pump, people here were 100% convinced that some other shitcoin will be the one.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO TRUST ANYONE

EOS:
Trust the delegates
Neo:
Trust the team
Ripple:
Trust ripple labs

Why do I need a blockchain then?
Why would I put my money on eos if it doesn't solve the problem of TRUST. Because eos delegates are better than any other guys running centralised services? Because people will choose good guys? Because good guys don't make mistakes?
