>People pay $75 to float in a dark container of salt water for 1 hour.

Is this a good business to start?

I don't think so. I pay a membership to one of these places and the guy who started it is extremely passionate and it drained him massively to make it work. I don't think it's super profitable based on what he says. DYOR of course.

Also these things are great. I used it a lot after a gut wrenching break up and stressful move, it helped tremendously.

It depends I guess. These types of business get inspected by health authorities and you need to make sure that you follow every rule. The water needs to be changed often, they need to be cleaned, etc. You also need to have showers so that people can wash themselves before getting into them and after getting out, etc.

It's pretty much like having a any kind of spa.

But put some glass in between you and the fish.

Give each fish a small light while you look up into the glass tank. It could look like outerspace.

No you don't. The saline in it makes seawater seem like spring water. I scratched my nose once and a droplet rolled into my eye and it fucked up my whole trip.
