Every kid out of high school that liked business classes but sucked at finance majors in marketing or management, it's true. I'm just surprised it's been so hard to find something despite having a resume that is better than about 90% of my peers.

This tells me that either you are applying for positions for which you are not qualified, or there is something wrong with your resume. Make sure that you have the qualifications necessary for the positions that you're applying for, and if you are, then it's time to rework the resume (especially if you haven't done so in a while).

Internships are an unfortunate prerequisite and necessity for many positions these days. It's a shitty system, but you're blaming the wrong people by insulting the people applying for the internships
