Bitcoin Cash thrived off Bitcoin's high fees + fooling noobs into thinking it's basically Bitcoin.

However, Bitcoin's fees are lower now thanks to less usage + Segwit adoption. Plus LN is in beta and a constant looming threat to Bitcoin Cash's only advantage.

LOL this is the most ill-informed post i've ever read.

Bitcoin (Cash) follows the whitepaper as did Bitcoin before it forked into bcore. Segwit is a bunch of absolute garbage designed solely to turn Bcore into a banking layer.

The LN is actually mathematically impossible to implement in it's current form thus it is no threat to Bitcoin (Cash).

You're saying negative adoption and usage of bcore is a good thing rofl. You sir are a moron.

Bitcoin Cash has a version of Lightning called Thunder (Teechain). Its a hardware version of lightning that you don't need to be online to use, that cannot fall to network congestion issues, and that can process 65,000 tx/s. All without Segwit. The Segwit version of the Lightning Network runs into a routing problem because Bitcoin is a small world graph network, not a mesh network. A mesh network runs into the Traveling Salesmen problem (technically speaking its a multiple depot multiple traveling salesmen problem). That means the computation becomes exponentially harder as it scales. That means it cannot work at scale.

Yes I do. The non-Segwit version of Lightning is the only workable off-chain scaling solution. The non-Segwit version of Lightning (aka Bitcoin Thunder) is called Teechain and is being developed by Emin Gun Sirer. It does 65,000 tx/s on a laptop and because it does not have Segwit there is no routing problem as channels are not shared on Teechain and Bitcoin retains the properties of its small world graph.

no early adopter, whale, institution, long term investor wants anything to do with bcash. literally nobody talks about it, discusses it, certainly not bought any. they probably own some for free thanks to the airdrop, but that's all you will hear.

When I got into BTC I didn't really care about the price. I just loved the idea of it and found it useful. I use BCH today with that same attitude. Price isn't important -- adoption and being useful to the poor and others who need a system like this, are.

I care about the price in a sense, but by focusing on the price too much, you lose sight of other things. Price will also follow use, in time. But if someone wants a quick pump, BCH isn't for them. If they want global peer to peer cash that will change the world, BCH is for that. Or whatever you believe is better than BCH -- I just think it has the best shot. But people shouldn't just hodl a currency, they need to spend it if they really believe in it.
