...now what? No threads (only two other threads presently in the catalog refer to this project in their original posts by name at all, and not as the primary topic of either). Nearly down to twenty-five cents. Not even bothering to look at the volume.

$0.28 has been a longtime dump goal. The shillers are unsure what to do as BTC is currently shitting the bed. So now we go sideways.

Long time Link holder here. We got screwed. Time to face it. Will keep my Link as a long term hold, but I genuinely don't see it hitting even $1 this year. Even if the project is sound, there just isn't enough money coming into crypto as an asset class. Maybe things will be different by the end of 2020.

>> No.8655744

The thing you should keep in mind is that LINK doesn't depend on normies fomoing in. It's an institutional solution. How many individual people will ever need an oracle service in their day to day?

>> No.8655805

I’m really comfortable with 15.5k LINK being a poorfag with no other investments. I’ll continue to add till 25k and will never sell. Even if it takes a decade, industrial adoption of smart contracts is only a matter of time.

LINK is literally the only option crypto has to recover and mantain a bull trend. People don't realize this. There's no more new money. Only holders. We need to breach into the consumer market, governments and the big companies. The best choice is having Smart Contracts interact with the real world. We need ChainLink to be a success or we're all dead.

>> No.8657020

still comfy as fuck at 220k, there’s little point for me in swing trading, just on cruise control till the singularity. anyone selling now is a certified retard, so don’t feel bad buying their bags.

this. remember what assblaster said, even tho most thought he was a larp, some things made total sense. chainlink could be THE essential erc token that sucks the capital out of all those shitcoins in the ecosystem just because it is so crucial to the development of the smart contract economy

>> No.8657400

>>8657001
this. people are literally to brainlet to get it.klaus ((schwab)) executive chairman of the ((world economic)) forum literally named dropped smartcontract.com when talking about how crypto would gain up to 10% of the worlds GDP in a couple of years. Blockchain and smartcontracts go hand in hand and you are a fool if you think anyone is even close to deployment in the oracle niche like chainlink is. I'm not fucking selling In my mind I already made it with my 25k link. Smartcontract will become a household name as they get easier and easier to use and people will be using them for countless use cases.

You can ask the devs directly. They have not worked out the consensus mechanisms yet.
People here have irrational expectations. This is a 6 month old startup. Stop blabbing about how Sergey is Satoshi and has been working on it since 2008.
It's pretty clear to anyone that follows what goes on in the github and the pivotal tracker that they indeed just started coding 6 months ago.
This is not FUD. You put money in a young project with a small but dedicated and professional team. Don't expect to become a millionaire overnight.
I'd rather they spend another couple of years working with their partners and community devs on a rock solid consensus mechanisms than have plenty of hype and a project that will eventually deflate to 0.

desu I only care about missed dumps with other coins. If I bought LINK at like $2 I'd still be holding this one out. Not meme'ing for once, the project looks promising and if he isn't a scammer then I'm honestly just glad to fund the project. Pretty optimistic even if it nearly zeroes out.
