The minimum relay fee for litecoin is 0.00000100LTC/byte. The minimum relay fee for bitcoin is 0.00000001BTC/byte. Bitcoin is slightly cheaper when the blocks aren't full. I have been able to get confirmed quickly with 1 sat/byte fairly consistently lately. But BTC isn't going to confirm in the next block with 1 sat every time. LTC blocks are fucking empty so 100 satoshi lite is always going to confirm fast.

Few people are using LTC because few people bother to even use crypto-currency as money in the first place. People are basically just gambling. Blockchain this, blockchain that. You want some real talk? Blockchains are horribly inefficient and not necessary for many things. The whole point of bitcoin is censorship-resistant money. That's why it has a blockchain.
