someone did a margin call, a margin call is when you borrow money from someone to buy bitcoin (on top of your own bit you add). its as stupid as it sounds because you need to be extremely careful because if you get into the red the exchange will have to pay back whoever you borrowed money from so they just take your money and sell your shit and every cent you put in is gone.

do a x25 leverage on 1k and its like youre trading with 25k but if the price of bitcoin goes down 24/25 = 4% then the exchange needs to sell your shit and take your money to make the person whole who loaned money, but its usually even before that prolly like 2 or 1% so they have some wiggle room.

i'll tell you what this is.
There are many whales controlling the market. some work together. some do now. some a bullish some are bearish and they do fight with interesting tactics. usually they are in groups.

A bullish group probably won last week and have been pushing it up ever since. this sudden "porn on on bitcoin" thing was unexpected even for them, and they got rekt because of it. usually they are ahead of the curve or react very fast with news. bear groups won this time and whoever had that long was simply caught out.
