AMD, now is clearly the time to buy.

It would depends on each anons situation. I'm a university student but I have good income from other ventures so I'd probably put 80% in various index and tracker funds and 20% 'play money'. That might be too aggressive for some, or not passive enough for others.

If I had any outlying debts, I'd pay them off.

I recently looked at binary options and realized its a meme, so I was thinking stocks is the way to go to invest money. I've read a little about forex trading and whatnot but could use a little more in depth knowledge on trading stocks. Things like how do you trade them? Where to look for resources etc. How did you start? Do you read news regarding your stocks, and if, does it influence it majorly? How to actually know when to buy or sell if it isnt obvious?

first of all, you dont want to invest in 3rd longest bullmarket in history. Now is the time to swingrade/daytrade
next you need to get some books and learn about fundamental and technical analysis. Then you need to read some more books. Then after you get some basic knowledge you need to rely on your own formulated opinion from the basic knowledge you accumulated earlier. Basically dont take advice on a specific stock and always take your own thinking into effect. Learning about technical trading is not the same as recommending or listening to recommendations of stocks. If you listen to other people and when something goes wrong you will not know why or where to learn from. If something goes wrong and it is your fault well at least you can learn and correct it.
From there experience is the only thing that will forge the iron. You can try using a demo account or you can just jump in heads first with your own cash.
Cash is king for a reason and it's better to be holding cash and moving in and out of a play than holding a play as an investment when it can turn into bag holding.
If you really want to hold long term and have investments, do this. When you make any profits, Do not sell out all. Leave a small % of the profits behind. This way it is houses money and you are not too concerned if it is going up or down in the short term as that is what your major capital is for while you can let this small profit holdings accumulate over time.

Read about Jesse Livermore. Read the book 'born to steal:when the mafia hit wallstreet' read the book ugly americans about the 80s asian markets. read about J. Welles Wilder, Jr..
Keep reading but never take advice in the specifics unless you want to be a weak minded drone.

It's a demo though. Trial by fire. You shouldn't expect to know any game right away as soon as you start playing. But especially with this game you need to learn by doing and not watching. Even demo will not be actuality because when you switch to cash even if it is only 5,000$ it will be totally different feeling from live cash to fake demo. But it is still a step and you can learn the systems and strategy.

Never invest with emotion. Think if you are some emotionless being, you do not even exist. Trade like you do not exist is the key.

market can price it in all it wants. but nobody knows how far or how fast they will try to raise rates. also the #1 risk factor is the debt level that will be put upon the debt can grow so fast that it alone can bring it all crashing down, and this is only talking a few point moves to 2-3% fed fund rate. if they try to go to 4-6% historical norms it will crush economy to debt payments. none of this is even considering also unfunded liabilities that are around 100trillion give or take a few fucking trillion. all while inside a global currency war where everyone is pretending they are not fighting the race to the bottom. this reset moment should it come is a very rare moment but has happened before in history, this time it is on a global scale as before it was limited to a country(s). Yuan trying to decouple so they can get into the IMF SDR but its just too late, and the NWO horizon is fast approaching.

But sure the groups behind it will pump it for another 300-500% but when the liquidity vanishes overnight someone will be left holding the bag, as always.
best coarse of action would be buying 10million shares and selling on a 50% pop keeping 2million shares behind to ride longterm. if it happens to drop to .0004 then you buy 10million more shares and if .0003 you also do 10million more and then you hold the bag until some coke snorting group comes along to pump it up above .001 for you.
