I am working on a business that works similar to a wedding planner. The difference would be the lower price and higher level of customization. Instead of doing all the work for the bride I would learn what the bride wants and give them the resources and assistance to plan it themselves. The idea is that this will add "meaning" to their experience.

DO NOT FUCKING DO IT. Believe me. I worked for a wedding photographer and wedding shit is THE most fake, soul draining shit I've ever had to experience in my life. I'm not even kidding. You need such a strong stomach for absolute bullshit it's unreal. There's a ton of money in weddings, but unless you are selling shit and don't actually get involved it just isn't worth it. Brides are always fucking dumb and you will spend a lot of time answering the most retarded emails you've ever read and they will not leave you alone. They will try to fuck you over too, and if they don't their mothers will. Trust me on this one.

Thank you for the advice but I am currently only in the process of creating the business plan. Do you know where I might find some graphs, charts, statistics, etc. that would demonstrate and increasing trend in marriages or "DIY marriages" ? If its profitable I will either sell the business or delegate to a manager like I have done with some of my other businesses
