I just in the last week or so practiced shorting. Just like when you learn any new skill you get worse before you get better. I made some mistakes because I gave myself to many options and I wouldn't let my trades develop. It is easy to put on a well planned trade and deal with some dips if you are fundamentally long, but when you know you can flip your position whenever you want you need to build up the discipline to not do that.

I definitely should have started with smaller positions.

Well i just saw that loads of people were losing money day trading, and so many people could have made more by holding bitcoin and not trading alts at all. Not all people but a huge amount.

So i decided to just open one short and leave it. Its done really well from me, im glad i did it. If i had opened and closed it over and over i probsbly would have made less.

Obviously i would have made more if i just closed it at 6k, before the bounce to 12k but i think its going lower anyway eventually
