If that happened crypto is over. The real market cap outside of all the fake Tether inflation is probably 50-60 Billion. Back to $1,000 BTC.

plz be true

Tether imploding would make Mtgox look like a 5% dip.

It's obvious it is going to happen.

They're shutting down crypto, not investing.

Tether was part of the reason it dumped so hard. There were a lot of flash crashes on Bitfinex and a lot of weird market behavior on Finex and then they stopped printing tether.

They reached solvency by dumping a lot of their alts and BTC/ETH. They are absolutely solvent right now. Previously? No. Will they cook the books? Yes.

reminder: a billion $ in crypto isn't a billion $ in fiat you fucking brainlet

if tether and bitcoin tanks down to $1k then bitcoin's revenue also tanks unless you're so brainlet you somehow believe they are able to convert their crypto to fiat without tanking the market unlike Gox

>> No.8409293

Even Tether is drop under $1, this is not nornal when the market crash.

Tether is the reason we went from 1k to 20k in the first place. Whenever the market tried to correct, they issued more Tether and artificially propped it up. You already saw how the Mt Gox trustee "carefully" selling 400 million over 3 months crashed the market, imagine 2 billion leaving in one instant

there will be blood in the streets bros

They don't have to tank the market to sell. You're the brainlet for thinking that. There are OTC exchanges for whales that trade up thousands of BTCs. No one with that much money in crypto just sells on the regular order book. It would be stupid to do so.

this.
People don't understand how much money these exchanges make.
Also the fact that they were subpoena'd and still continued printing, and dont seem remotely worried about an audit.

This is some pretty trash fud
