I had a chat earlier with one dev of Payfair called John Pomelov, he admits that in 2 weeks when the platform is supposed to release, the devs will exit scam. Pic related proof

Can someone who is technically literate explain how Payfair works? What are the nodes supposed to do?

I've been trying to get a straight answer to this for months and all anyone ever says is that it will be revealed soon. I fail to see how simply holding 10,000 PFR in MEW can contribute anything practical to the running of the platform.

You earn monthly fees if you hold a trust node. 10k tokens for a trust node.
No hardware requirements. Just hold in wallet and make passive income.

It's like a crypto-focused version of Craigslist and eBay combined. You can sell crypto for another type of crypto directly or for fiat and vice versa. You can also sell goods and services for crypto, to minimize the risk of scamming, randomly-selected escrow nodes, anonymous to both parties, verify the transaction is legit and release the funds to whichever party.

Kind of like Localbitcoins with support for altcoins and physical goods.

Trust nodes earn passive income whereas escrow nodes are active participants in the escrow service. Obviously, trust nodes are more lucrative for a lot less effort.

Incentives for nodes is scammy and leaves you open for manipulation. Lamdens masternodes have zero incentives.

Do you mean the escrow nodes? It's been said that the people performing the escrow are randomly-selected and anonymous to either side of the transaction so I don't see where manipulation would be possible.

Escrow nodes and trust nodes are different.

Trust nodes are basically your share of the company. Instead of local bitcons taking all the profits, Payfair will split it among investors. It would be difficult to keep it decentralized any other way.
