Longers get rekted just as much, dummy. The exchanges like Bitmex are so botted up now, and the market so fucked up, everyone is getting wiped out eventually, except maybe a small handful of cast iron ballers who can afford to fund longs from 10k.

The last couple of weeks, there has been a massive amount of shilling for Bitmex here, to draw in as many suckers as possible. I don't think it's the Bitmex employees doing it, but a chat rep said they monitor and post on twitter and reddit and elsewhere, so who knows? But what I see is people who have maybe $50 in their accounts at any time telling morons here to "come get rich!" and then laugh at them in trollchat. Between the botting and the pumping, I don't see how anyone would risk a dime over there without knowing what a complete crapshoot it is.

I always thought 10x actually meant, you bet 1k btc goes down 1k and you gain 10k. But going by the trade logs people post on here the gains are measly.

I have seen many people having to bet 20 btc on a 50x and gain 3-5 btc after it dropped 1-2k.

Does the source matter much? For example, could I order off of Alibaba and then send the supply to Amazon and let them do the rest?

btc is 10k and you have 1 btc, you use 10x leverage to buy 10btc worth of contracts (100k), if it goes to 9k you make 1btc

50x+ leverage is basically pure gambling

There's a huge likelihood that volatility will liquidate you.

What's with the influx of nocoiners? I thought they all left months ago.
