Linklaters, one of the world's largest lawfirms, joins the Accord Project, a consortium of legal and technology partners to help promote open standards around smart contracts. Accord Project is partnered with Hyperledger.

>Linklaters has been involved in smart contract and blockchain-related endeavours prior to joining the Accord Project. The firm recently issued a joint white paper with the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, exploring the use of blockchain-enabled contracts for derivative-based financial transactions.

Good thread, imo this is exciting and certainly bullish for CL, even though it isnt mentioned.

> shows theres real and growing interest around smart contracts
> shows the big guys want to bring smart contracts into derivatives
> smart contracts will need trustless oracle solution
> LINK is the only real trustless oracle solution in the works right now

Too bad brainlets need to be spoon fed information

Yeah, they're saying that the data to be fed into an oracle for smart contracts could be e.g. stock price or notice of a credit event from the Credit Derivatives Determinations Committee, or other info under ISDA documentation.

So while it doesn't say anything about what oracle solution might be used for this, it's still interesting.
