>sells btc at a high to pay off creditors
>everyone who lost btc gets 400 dollars per btc back
>everyone who lost byc in gox likely had at least 1 btc before last dec
>he crashes btc to pay thrm back, they get goxed again so they can have 400 dollars

Is there anyone who would’t have been better off if they just kept the btc and never crashed it from 19.8k?

Really? Everyone knew this would happen. Newsflash: in 2-4 years the other 160k coins will be paid out to creditors. At least 50% will dump them immediately.

That will be the last goxing.

Why don't you actually read the Mt. Gox creditors meeting transcript. They literally sold the BTC and BCH to ensure that they could cover 100% of their fiat losses. This is the only way a civil rehabilitation could occur (meaning the rest of BTC and BCH distributed amongst customers).

TL;DR According to the Trustee they shouldn't sell any more BTC BCH ever. They might, but they shouldn't.

They sold at the tip of the bubble, good for them. Why not sell these worthless coins when people are willing to pay high prices for them?

Waiting leads to uncertainty - who knows what the price will be in a year? Better to for mtgox to sell them now and get a guaranteed return.

What are you even trying to say? I'm honestly confused. All I said was that the creditors will receive 20% of their account value and no more BTC or BCH will be sold.

My understanding of this is he is doing this not only to repair the mt gox losses but also to end bitcoin altogether.

The japanese have a shame society, kobayashi likely feels a need to make things right. How so? By destroying bitcoin altogether.

He probably realized this is all a swindle, since the start.

He would make more money by selling above market. Or at least selling a bit at a time so the market could absorb it. The only way these dumps make sense is if he and his friends are shorting, or trying to crash the price to 1k so they can accumulate again. Or both. That is the type of market manipulation that libertarians say shouldn’t be regulated.

It's a clever plan. Crash BTC to 400 bucks and pay out at that value. That way nobody can cry about having been tricked. He's paying them the Market value after all. And if he drops it below 300, people will praise him for being generous by adding 100 bucks.

The SK auditor (not creditor) was actually on "our" side and was trying to regulate wash trading and other value manipulation techniques that are not allowed in actual stock markets.

Probably (((heart attacked))) by the same people who told the Gox trustee to market dump their shit.

This isn't a normal pnd. It's a person selling other people's coins purposefully losing half their value just so he can enrich himself.
