>getting out of BTC to buy alt-coins
Fuk off.

BTC will be 50k by End of Year.

500k by the End of 2019.

1M by end of 2020.

Then John McAfee will not eat his penis.

How can bitcoin stay valuable if people can't use it for transactions? As virtual gold? Why not buying a token of value on a blockchain that is gold backed?

>> No.8113678

Right now, people are storing it as value.
It'll be soon used as transaction means.
A lot of crypto isn't used as transaction means at this moment and non of it as backed by the black market, gamblers, traders, hedgefunds, 3rd worlder's like bitcoin is.

I am also long at XMR and ETH. But equally different reasons but not as much as grampa bitcoin.

>Why not buying a token of value on a blockchain that is gold backed?

Nothing backed by nothing is still nothing.

How about this argument?
BTC is purchased by currency which is backed by gold. Those validating it's value.

It's a circulating argument that never really does any benefit.

Because for normies cryptocurrency starts and ends with BTC.
BTC will always be valuable solely because it's normie-known status as THE crytocurrency.

If people want to use it as a currency there is nothing stopping them. It's instant as well and with no fees except when I have to pay for my insurance.

because no one actually believes it is gold backed. paper silver isn't backed by what it claims to be.
