I got a computer science degree but could have gotten equal value just buying like 5 books, doing all the exercises, and wouldve been 10 times faster and way cheaper. What is the equivalent mandatory material for learning marketing? If I have $50-$100 to drop on books or programs that will teach ne as much as possible about marketing, where do I go? Specifically, i need to learn internet marketing to sell my video game through online stores like Steam.

I am an engineering student, completed all calc classes and lin algebra. Have some programming experience, c, c#, python, assembly, also had a course on computer architecture and data structures.

Marketing is basically a mix between psychology and Data Analysis. Mostly data analysis these days.. I guess read something on buyer behavior and brand management. The rest you probably already know. You use your data to figure out who and where to market. Then you create the targeted campaign... You have a/b testing..then you run your campaign and analyze the rest results.. Go from there.
