This. Keep in mind Whalepool has long-time members who literally hold SHARES of Bitfinex (not just holding their coins there) and are personal friends with some of the guys who run the exchange. One of the guys behind Bitfinex used to literally come onto the Whalepool teamspeak and chat with them regularly.

What probably happened here is the same as fucking always: people got phised with a fake Binance URL by trying to log in after accessing Binance by searching for it on Google rather than actually typing in the exact URL.

Why are people so eager to constant accuse Binance of being breached when the accusations turn out to be fake time after time?
