How is Europe behind? As of now it's much better here. There's nothing like bitlicense and other BS, exchanges are open to everyone and you can withdraw/deposit up to €15k annually without any verification.

This can change, but if anything new regulations are probably going to be roughly equivalent to what's already in the US.

Germany alone has a bigger GDP than Russia or India.
Germany+France+Poland = $6.7T

Russian economy is only 3x Poland's but in terms of speculative money that could potentially buy crypto it's probably equivalent. Russia is India-tier poor outside of bigger cities.

France with that investment banker cuck in charge? Maybe. Theyve got a history of retarded bans. Germany? There is still no goverment after last elections which had up to 50percent extreme right wing votes - right wing AfD has overtaken lefty cuck SPD in votes already. Do you realize that they shoot themselves in the leg with that? You miss out on trillions of tax revenue over the years. NO country would stand to gain anything from banning crypto. They might say they do, but there is no objective reason to do that.

>> No.7944463

>>7944336
German normies are not in crypto yet. Crypto as seen by the majority of germans is still a shady ponzi related to ransomware, drugs and money laundering. Germans are possibly the most risk averse people on this planet. If you tell someone around here you are in crypto, people pull their children off the street and lock the door until you left. That's the common sentiment here.

The only germans in crypto are underground hacker-type wierdo underdogs and such who managed to buy crypto when it was hard and will still be able to buy crypto when it's banned. Living in europa means you are always close to at least one border and the european union makes it simple for you to cross that border.

So, a regulation (there will not be a ban, for over 9000 reasons) would change only one thing: crypto becomes goverment sanctioned and that is when the wealthy but anxious german granny sitting on millions will consider buying ze bitcoins & Co. Regulation is the only thing that is missing to have german wealth start actually flowing into crypto.

PPP is beyond meaningless when it comes to crypto.
it doesn't matter that you can buy a day's worth of bread for $0.0001 somewhere, BTC costs the same and amount of money they can put into BTC is the same.

not to mention GDP (even nominal) has very little to do with wealth of people, it's just the money being exchanges annually, so is an extremely poor indicator on how much money people actually have to invest in crypto.

Pretty much this, we can't beat them at the old game, so the only solution is to move to a new game while destroying the old games value. They can and do print money from the various international banking system using each countrys central banks, crypto is very similar but not 100% in their grasp like the old system.
