https://www.ccn.com/wyoming-house-unanimously-passes-bill-exempting-utility-tokens-securities-laws/

>To qualify as a utility token — or “open blockchain token,” as classified in the text of the bill — a token must meet three conditions. First, the token’s developer or issuer must not market it as an investment.

>Moreover, the token must be exchangeable for goods and services, which presumably means that — as is the case under Switzerland’s recently-announced landmark ICO framework — startups must have a working product or service at the time the tokens are issued.

>Finally, the token developer or issuer must not actively make efforts to create a secondary market for the token by entering into a repurchase agreement or agreeing to locate buyers for the token.

guess which token fulfilled all 3 requirements from the start

smartcontract did have a working product at the time of LINK release. This product was not directly related to LINK network though. They just had centralised oracles.

LINK is the EOS killer.

Chainlink has:

1. No transaction fees
2. Can scale to millions tx/s
3. Is Ethereum’s #1 competitor
4. Was created by Dan Larimer
5. Partnered with Google co-founder Eric Schmidt

How can EOS compete?

This, before sergey realized nobody would take smart contracts seriously without 1. secure data inputs and 2. privacy, they were schlocking that front end test net thing (i.e., a working product).
Sergey is clearly under orders from lawyers/legal team at places interested in implementing the product like swift banks. His behavior is 100% consistent with that.

Think about it for a minute: They're a "technically focused team" but it literally takes 1 minute to pop onto reddit and answer some nonstupid questions from people who are genuinely curious about smart contracts and your product (that you invited them in for by having a crowdsale, however small it was). Personally I don't think sergey is just a dick and there are other reasons he hasn't done any talking to token holders. Nobody is so busy they literally have no time for anything else other than work; Vitalik still posts on the ethereum subreddit forum. Fuck we know Steve was playing with developing cryptokitties stuff. Sergey just hasn't been allowed to say much of anything for the exact reasons in the OP.

>> No.7820659

>>7820495
and to add, from his social media presence we know Sergey has been involved in crypto and the crypto community for some time and knows damn well what the reaction would be if you have an ICO and then basically ghost people for months. There's no doubt he knew the usual customs and expectations but so far he just said fuck it to all of them. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what he means by this.

I read this in another thread & it still hits me
>Also reminder that if you're not a NEET, but in an industry that could utilize smart contracts, don't be a fag. Yesterday I stood in front of the entire management of my company (with some 15k employees) and shilled the fuck out of smart contracts because they'd quite literally save us tens of millions a year, and of course I namedropped LINK when explaining why no one has been able to utilize smart contracts until now.
>Do your part, faggots. Smart contracts will revolutionize just about every industry. We just need to force the fuckers to take the leap.

wtf there's no stopping it now, like seriously, this kind of organic shilling, plus 7777777? Wtf
