Already scalable to twice the on chain capacity
Has several Dev teams independently working on new ideas rather than just merging BTC updates
Still had lower tx fees than LTC even during a network "stress test" earlier this year where blocks consistently reached 8MB
Prominent supporters are still invested, rather than dumping their funds when the coin reached an ATH
The community is growing and flourishing in uncensored forums, suggesting that it has genuine grassroots support and not just a powerful agenda propping it up (as appears to be the case with BTC, and LTC is just BTC that currently works better)
LTC will have the exact same scaling issues that BTC did, it will just take a little longer to get there (if it ever gets used enough to reach that point)

the BCH pill is second only to the bog pill in terms of its toughness to swallow. I really hated Roger Ver and his general attitude, and what seemed like his attempts to steal the bitcoin brand for his own gain. Now that I see what blockstream has wrought for BTC, and how much the lightning network deviates from the literal first page of the BTC whitepaper, it seems that BCH is destined to suceed

The reason why BTC supporters get so emotional in the debate is because they can't rationally argue their fork is the real bitcoin when technically speaking it's transforming btcinto an altcoin which shares only the ledger with the original bitcoin.

These things happen due to the generally low technical knowledge among crypto enthusiasts, which leads to people forming their opinions from general consensus and authority figures. That's why it's so easy for the narrative to be subverted. The tech doesn't lie though so I think BCH will thrive in the long run.
