There's no evidence of that. Craig never came out and tried to prove he was Satoshi. News Outlets tried to out him as Satoshi. Then he said for a day or two he would prove he was Satoshi and backed out. Seeing how secretive Satoshi was that would make sense, but the only people who know whether or nott Craig is Satoshi are Gavin Andresen and Jon Matonis. Gavin swears Craig is Satoshi unless there was an elaborate hoax which Gavin has said multiple times he doesn't believe. And Jon Matonis now works for Craig. "Satoshi" handed control of bitcoin development to Gavin Anderson. So he knows who the real satoshi is. Gavin also said at one point Craig Wright is satoshi. Craig Wright was uncovered as satoshi and got raided by the Australian tax office hours later. Wright created it. Dave Kleinman was posting as satoshi and also held control of Wright's trust where the first bitcoins are stored. That is what I came up with so far "satoshi" has always been a group and im not sure yet where the other people besides wright/kleiman fit in

Does Nick program, by the way? It would be interesting if somebody conducted a code comparison. The same for Craig.

I heard them say that Hal can't be the one who wrote the code because he's a unix programmer and his style is totally different. Satoshi was a Windows programmer.

I think one of the more credible theories is that Mr. Nakamoto is, or was, a regular software engineer with a libertarian/anarchocapitalist political leaning and who managed to put together the different crypto-anarchist ideas that already existed (BitGold etc.) and create Bitcoin. It is safe to say that Nakamoto was a person with above-average intelligence, and I think it would be a little out of his character to leave such obvvious clues to his identity (the same clues that made investigators reach the conclusion that Finney is the inventor).

cont.

In addition, Nakamoto engaged in discussions concerning nuances of Austrian monetary theory, which suggests that Nakamoto understood the complex mechanisms behind the modern financial system and, more importantly, knew the dangers of challenging the financial system and the special interests who have disproportionally benefited from the central planning of the money supply.

Going anonymous was done purposefully to avoid the very real danger of his life being threatened by powerful organisations and individuals who would wish to see cryptocurrency destroyed in order to preserve the current financial system. It seems to me that this threat would be enough to justify stringent and bulletproof operation security, which leads me to my conclusion that Hal Finney is probably not the creator of Bitcoin and nor are his contemporaries.

The question that remains is why Nakamoto has not spent his coins yet, especially with the crazy valuations that we have seen recently. My theory is this:

a) Nakamoto has a deep passion for revolutionising and rolling back the severe damage that fractional-reserve and central banking has done to the world, and selling his coins would not be an action that stands true to the original principles behind the invention of bitcoin.

b) Following the conclusion of the previous proposition, I do not think that the possibility of Nakamoto simply throwing away his private keys is remote at all. His principles maybe convinced him to forfeit the fortune that he had amassed for the higher ideal of delivering financial liberation, which I do not think is as unlikely as people think it is.

Why wouldn't you just assume he's dead like everyone else. Why concoct an elaborate fantasy of him being some selfless Robin hood idealogue figure

>> No.7762331

Satoshi will reveal himself when he is the richest single entity on the planet. Probably when he is worth trillions. He will overthrow the old world order, and use his fortune to "save" the world. Every human will receive his mark in order to buy or sell.

Not sure how to feel about it honestly. Just buy the fuck out of crypto now if you want to be the new elite.

The man who wrote the whitepaper is Hal finney. This is also the man who wrote the code for bitcoin, and the main who had possession of the largest bitcoin wallet in history.

He collaborated with Nick szabo because of his work with bitgold.

The reason satoshis wallet is left untouched is because Hal died in 2012 due to complications from ALS.

The only living person who knows for a fact who Satoshi nakamoto is..... is Nick Szabo.

The pseudo name, Nakamoto, came from Hals neighbor who lost his home due to the 2008 housing crash.
