Could this be a dead cat bounce? I am convinced of the value of crypto but I wonder if we are ready to bull run yet...

The TETHER fud hasnt cleared yet, there will be government crackdown, adoption is still very low and it is still all speculation.

Personally im 50% 50%, I just dont know anymore.

Thoughts?

The whole tether thing is way overblown.
I do think we're in for a dump soon though.

I'm not convinced by the price action today ideally we would've seen a pop once we went over 10k but it's just been hovering around that level.

I wouldn't be surprised for us to drop down to 9k and go sideways for a little before we can truly break above 10k

That's the best case scenario for bitcoin. I'll buy back in if that happens. Realistically though, a crash is more likely.

If it is, I'm not surprised. I don't have much faith in crypto. The optimistic side of me thinks that crypto will moon one last time before finally crashing again. The last majory rally would happen when the exchanges reopen registrations to the general public.

Down to 7, confirm bottom, hover 9 until April. Screen it.

If coinbase exit scams we’re completely fucked

>> No.7695809

No expert, but I think we've broke the trend and are relatively safe. I wouldn't be surprised if BTC dropped back to 9k with minimal movement, though 8k might be reason to worry.

Just moved some tether back to alts, I think we're alright for now.

Yeah I wonder if the coinbase scare will delay or prevent normies from pumping.

Why do you think so?

You got it OP. No use as a means of exchange, too volatile to be a store of value, more expensive per transaction than credit cards or PayPal, and unregulated exchanges that go down at a whim and are 95% scams.

Some whale may pump or wash trade those numbers up to some big value, but the asset has no intrinsic use and loses value with every exchange or transaction. There is nothing behind crypto but "the blockchain", a technology with no inherent use besides wasting energy.

Anyone else been tracking the market depth at 4k during this "bull run"?

Sinking interest. We're post mania still. I think up to $12k is within reason but I don't see it breaking ATH for awhile.

Ellen just shilled Bitcoin on her show today. Interest is most definitely still there.

People are only skeptical right now because of the perfect storm of events which led us to Bitcoin hitting 6k. If it wasn't for the insane amount of FUD from a few weeks ago, Bitcoin would've bottomed out at around 10 to 8k which is where we are now.

its actually the first time lmao

I have bitcoin, i just like to consider all possibilities.

if you think the fud was bad on the recent dip, then strap yourself for march

>> No.7696636

What's the problem with a dip? It give us time to buy more. How am I supposed to buy more if it's $50K?
