No, whats currently happening is that a lot of newcomers aren't getting into BTC because of price psychology and stay in alts. If you actually sum up the marketcap of ETH and BTC and keep in mind that about 2.5Million BTC is confirmed missing then the altcoins can't actually be traded for the BTC they're worth if everyone wants out. Ofcourse there was never any liquidity for this but right now altcoins have a bigger marketcap than their trading pairs combined.

Altcoins will still be heavily influenced by BTC though in terms of fiat, it seems that BTC prices are more constant with each day.

So no they're not safe investments because most of them are kinda crap anyway and shouldn't exist. There are also plenty of private equity blockchains that can be used by corps.

Most of them, no. But they're still higher reward given risk. BCH and ETH though are both just flatly better and it's simply a matter of time till one of them flips it. And if it's BCH, BTC will be completely destroyed because of it.

>corporate making their own blockchains
Yeah, just like how every single company now just makes their own email servers from scratch.
I bet those who invested in Microsoft early heard the exact same thing.
If you're scared about this, just invest in enterprise blockchains, you double nigger.
