People need to understand that BTC is based on mathematics and a swap of resourcing power to solve cryptographic problems.

There are some of the largest data centres around the world currently mining BTC. I don't believe BTC will ever go to $0 due to this. What concerns me is the impact these data centres have on the environment. That is why I do not support the PoW consesus.

The fact we're in this game shows we have a very poor view of fiat. The stock market looks bubblish as fuck given all the quantitative easing efforts. Real estate is always an option, but like you said we're probably also due for a correction soon. I guess the only thing left is gold, but personally as a millennial I'm not a huge fan of it. I wish, I followed Peter Diamandis work on disruptive technologies, and didn't catch on to DLT and cryptos until late 2017. That's why I've got a decent understanding of the general trends disruptive tech goes through.

Yea, got that one in my folder too. We really are in our own echo-chamber here. I sometimes forget we are retail investors, and it's the corporations that are still the innovators/early-adopters. It's literally two very phases / time-lines, and corporations have very different risk-reward profiles. They will adopt a tried-and-tested technology very late, for marginal gains or to protect their profit margins in the face of competition.
