Options are a good way to get leverage but if you just want index leverage going outright long futures is a better bet because you have no time decay and get better liquidity.

Not much of a boost in share price though, although it did close slightly in the green. Maricann had some volatility but closed even, which is good as it held yesterday's 7% gain. MARI continues to quietly increase in value while rest of my portfolio is stuck in the mud for the time being.

Came here to say FUCK robinhood, can’t believe I wasted time on a bank transfer to try that pos “broker”.
Beyond the shit-tier customer service, they don’t even offer a wide range of securities. You only get equities - not all of them - and no pink sheets either. Oh yes and settlement times are T+5. Also you only get mountain charts, no volume display, and delayed quotes. Forget about L2. And you want extended hours? Too bad.
I found myself having to switch between my main broker and robinhood to make a decently informed trade.
To top it off they never even tried to debit by bank account but they gladly fronted me $1,000 while the transfer was pending. It’s fucking margin. There are no cash accounts, if I’d lost money on that $1,000 they’d smack me with a margin call.
I thought for free trades this will all be worth it but it is simply not. If trade costs matter to you just call your broker and negotiate a lower commission (you absolutely can do this, I just did).

IMO the lack of information isn’t doing beginners any favors. Makes them likely to make bad trades, which is even worse because they’re predisposed to it already.
The benefit of RH should be that you trade frequently without large costs. But you can’t even do that. You get enough info for swings that’s about it.

Also they could offer that stuff easily and are too lazy to implement it. How hard is it to give different chart types and an indicator for example?

Just use thinkorswim for research and RH for the free trades, that's what I did for a long time. Trading on your phone is at best casual anyway, when RH's website is finally up, you may get all of those features.
