What about someone who never even applied for disability then? After two years of military training I got screened before going to a duty station because I had a "physical liability" for being stationed over seas. Got medically discharged and then two years later was mandated to go to a disability review hearing. I thought they were just going to take away my benefits, but they ended up giving me way more. Nah dude, I don't feel guilty about any of this. And others on disability shouldn't feel guilty either. These programs are set in place to get people back on their feet, and even if someone like OP feels like they are gaming the system, they most likely truly aren't. There has to be real evidence that you have an issue or you won't get shit.
