I think it has really great potential if you believe projects like this can catch on with existing businesses. If this can be done, you likely have something good on your hands with AMB and quality control and foods and medicine.

Have to disagree a little on the pharma points you made though. QC is a massive part of the pharmaceutical industry and in recent years there has been a lot of media attention on fake medicines. They might be slow to adopt the technology and AMD might not be the solution, but there is huge potential for any projects that can obtain decent partnerships.
