Now I look at this FUD during the crypto bubble and just laugh. Nobody is going to take this seriously. The FUDders are just stroking their cocks thinking they may have just played a part in crashing the market while others just laugh at his folly efforts :D

1. Money not flowing between parties is about as good a sign as blood not flowing around your circulatory system.
2. A sudden stop in interbank lending is an indication banks no longer trust what's on their or each other's balance sheets - i.e. their ability to pay anything back.

Imagine everyone's been making loads of bets and the prospects of those bets are considered to be part of what other people's bets stand to make - if too many bets go wrong suddenly there's no money to cover any of bets - suddenly there's no money at all because it's all debt. In a situation where you think a lot of bets are starting to go wrong you stop making more bets.

Solution: Shit which has no counterparty risk -i.e. some cryptos and precious metals.

The thing that is different from 2007 is that interbank lending was very high at the time. When the Central Banks came with their free-money-policy, that is/was how banks get money. So you can take that with a grain of salt.
What is more a concern (and probably the reason people will front run the market) is rising US rates which will put stress on bond yields, mortgages and credit. There is definitely room for more downside in stocks, they are still overvalued and the dollar will also fall.

But where will large capital holders go if they want to leave all US assets? They can't go all in gold. Emerging markets ETFs are crashing, high yield corporate debt ETFs are falling as well. Where will the money go? The economy? Well then expect hyper-inflation.

Bonds are ious.

Governments issue bonds to finance spending.

The interest-rate of a bond indicates how expensive it is.

the lower the interest rate the more expensive… The higher the less expensive.

when interest rates rise it means that the lender has less confidence in the borrower to return the money he has loaned.

US 10 year bond is now creeping around 3%… We haven't seen that for about 10 years now.

some countries are even issuing negative rate bonds which is absolutely indicative of a bubble.

If the equity of Deutsch and Morgan Stanley fall below 4% they would be insolvent. And their equity is made out of stocks, bonds and real estate. The recent plunge in Dow is the banks' CEOs selling off their stocks to transfer the wealth someplace else. Definitely not real estate.

Doesn't matter. Just don't look at it, it will make you feel bad. You will have your money back in 10 years anyways, don't despair.

People are freaking out, you don't lose your money unless you cash out at the bottom.

Just hold, assuming it is widely spread, you will return to normal when market stabilizes in the years after.

depends how the ETF is structured - it could make money if wheat prices go up or if wheat producers make profits - those are likely uncorrelated because high prices mean crop failures and big producers tend to hedge against prices not going their way.

but it's at least uncorrelated to the markets, so I don't think it's a bad idea if the FRED is the most important thing.

Low interest rates means that consumers and companies have more money in their hands, they outbid each other for stuff so prices go up, when interest rates are raised there is less money moving around and people stop outbidding each other so prices go down.

My question is how will central banks react to this, will they just allow the correction to happen or will they bring back quantitative easing or even worse, negative interest rates...

every market will crash, but only in terms of fiat valuations. This is due to a tightening in liquidity.

Cryptocurrencies will continue doing what they were designed to do regardless of crash or not. the best time to own something real like gold, silver, zinc, cryptos is when no one else can afford to buy them.
