Not sure, haven't tried any online escort services yet. Other expats recommend just use dating websites and go to down with English speaking uni students. Have to be careful with freelancers and fake ids. Some of them you can't tell if they are 20 or 30, shit's fucked.

I'm exploring that now, Bangkok is too big of a city, reminds me of the worse of Sydney. Pattaya is fucking way too seedy even if the prices of whores are cheap. Can't stay here for more than 2 weeks in a row. Jomtien is around 15-20 mins away from Pattaya, less seedy and more resorty, with plenty of expats, trying it out now with airbnb.

Many expats I've met come to Bangkok/Pattaya to party, but live in Chiangmai, most are old fags that married local, but claim it's the best of all worlds.

Similar situation , your biggest problem is going to be the residency.

I am assuming you just overstayed your 30 day at this point , part of the residency process is proof of income. So they want to see either a big stack of Fiat in a bank account or 3 months worth of recent paychecks.

The immigration offices here almost exclusively rubber stamp based on government benefits or disability cases as that is the vast majority of ex Pat's , so outlier cases are heavily scrutinized.

Do not try to eek by as a non resident , sort that shit out one way or another or they will deport your ass.

Yeah, they have a rich culture and the cost of living is ridiculous. You can easily survive on 15-20k AUD (10-15k for amerifats) and have a middle class lifestyle in the first world cities. Gone are the days of buying cases from bottle shops, I just head to the million 7 11's and just get tanked daily with the 1 dollar beer cans for predrinks.

You can always avoid the family friendly tourist areas (or stay there if you like resort/chill style) or the sin city part of towns.

There's plenty of ex-pats with a tight community online where you can find people to do shit and hobbies with. Most are retirees though, I'm younger and are meeting more young'uns that are working there but paid in their home country fiat. But they are arrogant and splurge like millionaires there, not my crowd.

Can't buy houses here, they only let you buy condos (apartments). Using Syd prices, per sqm and similar amenities, around 20-50% of Syd prices, depending on suburbs. They have plenty of rich chinks here called hi-so's (high society) that jack up prices in Bangkok.
