Hello everyone,

If I went long btc/usd with lets say 3btc and have a negative P/L balance. I know I can margin sell 2.9 btc so that if the price is going down, i'm less affected, and I know that by doing so I'm not "taking the loss" from the negative PL right. But what if I margin sell more than 3 btc ( as in I want to short btc), will that make me take the loss?
