I'm a retard /biz

got most of my shit on the exchanges still.

I dont have a nano yet so I'm thinking of moving all my coins to metamask.

How legit is metamask?
It's gotta be safer than leaving my coins on an exchange, right?

Depends on your system and your behaviour.

Metamask is okay if you're not stupid and installing shitware or visiting dodgy sites.

Ideally until you get the hardware wallet I recommend you run MEW locally, on an air-gapped (never been online) computer. Find a shitbox laying around, wipe it and install linux then download MEW to usb (from another pc) then put it on your air-gapped machine.
