Vanguard’s chief economist: ‘Decent probability’ that bitcoin goes to zero
https://www.marketwatch.com/amp/story/guid/36779A88-0CCF-11E8-BF86-1CEF767DAFF7
HAHAHA THAT'S HOW NO COINERS COPE
>>7498593>At some indeterminate point in the future, there is a decent probability that bitcoin's value drops to zero.Calm down there Nostradamus.
thanks just bought 100k
Blockchain is worthless, costs way more to maintain than the alternative.
Literally impossible because I will have a buywall for the total supply at $0.50 just for nostalgia reasons.>>7498598retard
decent probability the central bankers at the FED will crash the economy by raising interest rates whenever they feel like
Nocoiner here. I was actually hoping Bitcoin would go to 100k. Never planned on investing. The idea of a bunch of smug nerd NEETs becoming millionaires without "getting their act together" made me warm and fuzzy.
decent probability the us dollar is losing value and world reserve respect daily
>>7498593bitcoin cunts are fucked hahahahahah
>>7498601it'll probably get to 100k in the next 5 years but in 5 years what will 100k be?
more like 100k by 2023
>>7498593no one likes buttcoin or pajeetcoins.JEW is the future.
>>7498593https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoinobituaries/
>>7498593It going to zero is impossible thoughAlso>VanguardCan you get more irrelevant when it comes to crypto? Come on poo in loo.
I think 45-50k by end of year.Lots of investors yet to get involved.
>>7498601>The idea of a bunch of smug nerd NEETs becoming millionaires without "getting their act together" made me warm and fuzzy.this made me so happy you can't understand.theres some dew and cheetos addicted kid out there sitting on a couple million with a ferrari that they keep burning the clutch out of. and some CHASE A CHECK NEVER CHASE A BIH bro saw them driving it and got mad.
Congrats on this, seriously.
>>7498610I currently "have" about 30 million us in bitcoin. I put nothing but a bit of electricity into it 8 years ago.I've managed to take out 5k cad over the past year via those ATMs and shit. But I don't see any way to ever get it all out anonymously.I still treat it as fake money. If it goes to 0, who fucking cares. I got 5 thousand free dollars out of it.. That bought me a SHITTON of monster and beef jerky to eat as I spend 12+ hours a day either shitposting or playing videogames.Bitcoin is a fucking joke. And it's the best joke of my life.
>>7498593>Chainlink>claim fast transaction time> Claim to be cheapest solution for transactionsIt Takes one computer nearly 2 years of calculations to verify a bitcoin transaction on it's own. Consuming 4000 KW of energy costing up to 2160 dollar.Yeah nice going fucktards. Mind if i use cash and just transfer it from one hand to another in a second, without costing me shit ?.
>>7498612You really should buy something stupid expensive that will lose a ton of value like a Mercedes S class.
>>7498614Taking out that much would defeat the purpose of bitcoin. I'd lose my anonymity. Then the tax man be after me.
>>7498615>Taking out that much would defeat the purpose of bitcoin. What the fuck are you even talking about. This entire thread is hilarious.
>>7498615The tax (((man)))
>>7498593What exactly is a Bitcoin? What's it backed by?
>>7498615You might be able to sneak some of that money out in Amazon Coupons and make a few big purchases. Wouldn't that be kind of anonymous?
>>7498616The places you can turn bitcoin into actual money are very limited here. ATMs are the only real anonymous place and you're limited to a few hundred there.Trying to take out tens of thousands of dollars at once to buy a car would expose me.
>>7498593They need to stop scaring the normies, bitcoin will only go to 0 if every normie buys it.
>>7498612>30 million us in bitcoin>Don't see any way to ever get it all out anonymously.>till treat it as fake money. If it goes to 0, who fucking cares.Shhhhhh your retard is showing.1. Fuck the anonimity, You haven't comitted a crime.2. withdraw the money3. Pay due taxes ( It is taxed as investment profit )4. End up with about $20 million to spend legally.5. Live happily ever after.6. Send me 5% for the tip.
>>7498593just admit some of you assholes got taken for a ride in a pump and dump scheme.
>>7498620>>7498622Everyone seems to be a bitcoin millionaire and yet no one ever seems to be able to cash out.Strange...
>>7498624i was thinking the same thing.show me an 'exchange' that isn't either crippled or broke.
>>749859916,854,912 bitcoins * $.50 = $8,427,456
>>7498613Is this post a joke? I dont want to ruin it for everyone but I cant tell if this is a joke or if you are actually this retarded.
>>7498627Bitcoin itself is a joke. Don't be salty.
>>7498618>bitcoin for idiotsA bitcoin is essentially the answer to a long equation that would take thousands of year for a cheap laptop to calculate but done more quickly with dedicated rigs. The equation also serves to validate transactions happening. This is why bitcoins transactions are very slow, the current cap is like 7 transaction/10minutes (compare this to the 100 000s of transaction/sec for credit cards). The more bitcoins there is, the more complex the equation becomes. Bitcoin cap is related to the amount of transactions done on the blockchain. Normies wrecked this system with speculations instead of using it as a currency. Its not backed by anything beside the underlying technology. You are essentially buying glorified transaction confirmation numbers.
>>7498622Then the government will know I have the money though. That's an issue due to my past.
>>7498630Just stop.
Its almost like these old economists dont have a clue about what is going on since there is no precedent to something like thisThe same thing happened to the internet, a lot of "specialists" said it would never get used and here we are
>>7498631That's what I've done.
>>7498633I meant stop LARPing. You are clearly full of shit.
>>7498629>7 transactions/10min>billions of dollars are transferred every day at 7 transactions per 10min
>>7498634You know my situation better then I know it myself I guess. Thanks for the advice.
>>7498630There are already solutions to this in the cryptocurrency realm. Some mainstream solutions are Monero and Zcash which are designed to be annymous and very difficult to trace.
Lots of nocoiner shill threads today. Is it because it’s rising again? Bears who are having their shorts x100 liquidated? Stay salty. Should have bought at 6k. It’s not going below 7k ever again.
>>7498593for anyone who bought in above 12000, it is already, and forever more, ZERO
>>7498593(((vanguard))) Lel
>>7498624>>7498625That's the pyramid for you. There's no real dollar for you 30mil worth of bitcoins.Where there's a seller to cash out, there needs to be a buyer.Any money that has been put into BTC is there to stay forever, having enriched the scammers at the exchange.
>>7498638I bought the entire way down because I didnt know when it would stop, just knew that it would. Averaged in around 7500 and Im the very comfy.
>>7498612You're either retarded or full of shit
>>7498593very likely, as the Bitcoin futures market COULD crash. Other cryptos will reach great heights. Bonds, stocks, cryptos. All a bunch of funny money that robs the average Jo of their purchasing power.
>>7498593I will send you Two Pizzas for 10,000 bit coins
>>7498618>What's it backed by?Seriously, stop asking this question
>>7498641>log into coinbase>sell literally everything I have at literally anytime I want with literally no issues >its a pyramid scheme
>>7498641>Any money that has been put into BTC is there to stay forever>braindamage.jpg
>>7498647Lol this. That's exactly what I did during this recent crash. 0 issues getting my money
>>7498649>sold everything during a 50% crash/biz/ in a nutshell everyone
>>7498643Then tell me Mr. Trips. How do I turn all that bitcoin into physical currency? Not into another for of digital currency via a bank account that has my name on it. But into spendable, untraceable paper money?
>>7498649>not mentioning how long or how far down bc went before transaction was final>not mentioning fees>not mentioning taxes
>>7498649I legitimately think the people who are calling it a pyramid scheme are too retarded to even recognize an actual pyramid scheme. Its one thing to suggest the underlying technology isnt worthwhile and that its a bad investment but calling it a pyramid scheme at this point is equating the entire US stock market to a pyramid scheme. In fact I would actually go out and say it is much harder to pull your money out of stocks than it is BTC so by their own logic all investments must be pyramid schemes.
>>7498647>sell literally everything I have at literally anytime I want with literally no issuesAt litterally anytime I want, g-g-guys! I swear they won't run with the money this time.
>>7498595its not a real coin. its just a #. Why couldn't it go to zero?
>>7498651Localbitcoins.comJust put the amount you want to sell onto a mobile wallet and exchange with someone in person for cash
>>7498593KEK thats why i didnt buy shit coin because it was never realhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OI-9iMrWRrw
>>7498650Most of what I still have isn't on coinbase, but I totally admit to panic selling that bit. Though I bought in around 1k so not like I lost.Though this wasn't the point. Point was "lol u can't get moni back out" is completely false and border line retarded
>>7498649So you paid 17,000 perand got back 6,000Sweet
>>7498652>t. Never used coinbase
>>7498593>listening to kikes and pedophiles from wall streetThe old system must die in totality.
>>7498656So your answer is "Find someone with 30 million cash, who's willing to trade that all for bitcoin"You find me that man, I'll give you 33%.
>>7498651If you really have that much, just pay the fucking taxes and enjoy retirement
>>7498652How does any of this have to do with it being a pyramid scheme. This is a consequence of any trading platform that you can pull USD out of. Also are you actually implying that other investments are completely free of volatility or do you just not understand how trading assets works?
>>7498651Or bitquick.coYou can do it online via money gram or western union
>>7498653You're probably right. Stuff like that is why other boards thing we're retarded
>>7498659See>>7498658
>>7498593i pity anyone that still believes this shit. i knew about bitcoin from the beginning and fell for the le scam meme like all the other smug faggots. well now i am in. see you this time next year when i've doubled my money by doing nothing.
>>7498668>doubledAt least
>>7498662I’m sure there are people out there who would. Drug dealers and whatnot. Why not just do a few thousand at a time though to pay for your expenses?
>>7498663If I turn it into money in a way that the government knows, then other people will know too. And I'd lose it all. Might as well just keep it in bitcoin and take out a few hundred every month to have some fun with as I have been doing.
>>7498665>money gram or western unionHaa, Haa, HaaSounds like a scam to me
>>7498671>then other people will know too. And I'd lose it all.Wut
>>7498653>underlying technology isnt worthwhile
>>7498593Because they don't yet realize Ethereum will actually assume the role Bitcoin now plays, and that Bitcoin will only remain as a reserve of value.
>>7498671I know you're baiting but are you living in a ghetto or something? Are tax records public in Canada too?
>>7498668I basically thought it was the same thing. However I was an edgy colledge student in the infancy days and bought BTC from random strangers on some shitty website so I could buy drugs on the internet. If I had held the BTC instead of buying DUDE WEED I could probably have a little over 100 grand right now. I dont think it was worth it.
>>7498671>then other people will know too. And I'd lose it all.how?
>>7498672I bought my first bitcoins at $15 per using money gram in 2012. Stay poor.
https://youtu.be/2KnaYLSayeU
>>7498673>>7498678Taxes, back-taxes, debts both public and private. 2 ex-wives and 3 kids.I'd end up with nothing.>>7498676Not to the general public, but intergovernmental they are. And it's not hard to find out if you really want your money back.
>>7498679$15 is smart money$17,000 is Fool money Dude more power to you. It's the guy without a seat when the music stops that has the problem.
>>7498664>Also are you actuallyjust responding to your only point, "got your money out".I understand the bitcoin bubble pretty well, if you can lose $10k without flinching, then go all in.If you have so much money you can easily loose 10k, why the fuck are you fooling around with memecoins?
>>7498593anyone who thought Bitcoin would amount to anything is fooling themselves. (((they))) would never allow it
>>7498681>Taxes, back-taxes, debts both public and private. 2 ex-wives and 3 kids.>I'd end up with nothing. So you have so much debt that 30 mil wouldn't help?
>>7498593people toss a coin in the air and expect it to stay in the air forever
>>7498683"it's a bubble" isn't an argument for "you can get your money back out"If you think it's gonna go down, short it and make some cash
>>7498679Dollar cost averaging goes both ways
>>7498630>Then the government will know I have the money though. That's an issue due to my pastPay the government what you owe them. What is it ? student loan ? alimony, They'll have a good reason for why you owe it to them. I doubt your debt is even near the amount of money you made in bitcoin. Also the debt is tax deductable. Pay your damn dues. It's not like you are unable to afford it now.You are so desperate to keep it all that you''ll choose to end up with nothing instead. ?Otherwise migrate to another country, open a bankaccount, open a business venture ,make yourself employee, pay yourself a good salary , get nationalised. Many countries love millionares to immigrate.
>>7498681jesus dude, if not trolling you had one heck of a life.
>>7498687"it's a bubble" isn't an argument for "you can get your money back out"If you think it's gonna go down, short it and make some cashThat is more retarded then buying bitcoin
>>7498593Isn't bitcoin practically the VHS of crypto at this point though? There are hundreds of more advanced coins
>>7498593Bitcoin is a shit currency that has been obsolete for a while. Hell etherium is a better option at this point. Crypto is the future, just not btc.
>>7498683>gets his non-argument shut down>pretends like it didnt happen and makes another non-argument
>>7498593Pathetic cope. Talk to me once btc get to under $5k. It was $1k A FUCKING YEAR AGO. 12 MONTHS! 700% in that period is nothing to sneeze at
>>7498692>margin trading is dumb>can't into green text>talking down to anyone else about anythingWew
>>7498685Enough people would end up with my money that yes, it's smarter for me to take out a few hundred every month anonymous then 30 million all at once publicly.>>7498690I'm fine with the government getting their share of the tax on the sum. I'm not OK with everything else that would happen. I'd rather burn it all down. And I'm not gonna leave my family land. It was never in my name so it's untouchable.
>>7498629Holy fuck, way to get almost every single fact about bitcoin wrong.
>>7498694This is true but btc will still be the big kid on the block until crypto is more established
>>7498593(((Vanguard))), jews are very good at using deceptive language. Get your 401 kosher goys, Jews need their gambling money on (((Wall Street))). It is basically a way for Jews to fuck Main Street, USA.
>>7498693Not a bad analogy, but not quite the same.
Meanwhile my portfolio is up 4% today. Buy your discounted alt coins now or miss the pattern that happens literally every single time.>Bitcoin is finished for the millionth time this year
>>7498655Dollars aren't real either but we use those.
>>7498698>Enough people would end up with my money that yes, it's smarter for me to take out a few hundred every month anonymous then 30 million all at once publicly.Holy fuck. Talk to a Swiss bank. Usually you need to have the cash to open an account, but they may make an exception if you're going to put 30m in
>>7498681>. 2 ex-wives and 3 kidsYou rather end up with nothing than spend some on your kids ?kys kike
>>7498684>would amount toactually it was a spectacular, fine bubble, if you had balls of steel to get in at 5k and get out at 15k, you played it well.but I don't think anyone actually like that would be wasting their time posting on 4chan in the middle of a Friday
>>7498612umm... why don't you put it in a privacy coin like monero, sumokoin or turtlecoin? after that, there are places like localcoins where you can meetup with people and exchange coins for cash. if you ever come to las vegas, there are like hundreds of ATMs that accept crypto and don't need IDs
>>7498707>but I don't think anyone actually like that would be wasting their time posting on 4chan in the middle of a Friday>I'm such a brainlet than anyone who managed to make money in crypto must be some kind of elite trader who does nothing but analyze the market all day every day
>>7498709This :)
>>7498706Not my kids. I made some bad fucking choices in my 20s. But the government considers me responsible for them because I spent enough time around them.>>7498708Just turn it from one crypto into another? What would that achieve? And I can't go to Vegas, I can't travel to the US due to legal issues. Or anywhere really.
>>7498709itt: Mr Balls of Steel
>>7498711>I can't travel to the US due to legal issues. Or anywhere reallyLmao Jesus dude
>>7498694>Hell etherium is a better option at this pointEthereum is a failed proof-of-concept that will die when enough people have lost their money thanks to solidity being utter garbage in smart contracts.
>>7498712>this much copeLel, good luck with that
Hoping ETH overtakes BTC.
>>7498711On a scale from 1 to 10 how JUST are you man?
>>7498704dollars are actually backed by something other than rampant bottom denominator speculation
>>7498593The price can't go to zero unless only 1 person still holds Bitcoin, and nobody wants to buy
>>7498715>666at last, you are revealed...
>>7498718What? They're backed by confidence in the US economy. Not gold or anything tangible. Same for cryto. They're backed by security in the technology and expected future value.

>>7498718>>7498721Plus there seems to be no roof on how many dollars can exist in this world. Only a maximum of 21M Bitcoin will exist ever, no more.
>>7498726There is a 44% chance I'm whiter than you Svenhammed.Anyway I don't mind the occasional crypto thread here; they usually wind up getting political due to the discussions of underlying economics and fiscal policy. I have ETH, but not BTC.
>>7498593You're gonna see bitcoin and tech stocks decline like crazy now thatA) Tax cuts are helping the economyB) Interest rate rises are going to male other business venture, more traditional ones, more profitableC)Nobody wants a bubble so if they all lleak out slowly they all kinda winThe only thing bitcoin had was that it was independent of a country's recession, but it qas never backed by anything as a result. Again, it was great under these conditions, but the rules have changed now.
>>7498662Do you have nobody you could trust? You could transfer the bitcoins to them they cash out (clean record, so whatever dumb shit you are worried about wouldn't effect them) they then start a meme company a few months later and hire one person (you) at whatever amount a year you decide, you pay taxes and just tick with it until the money runs out, you would probably have to let them get a good chunk but who gives a shit you would both be millionaires.
>>7498677I bought in at ~600$ per to deposite on Bovada. Ended up losing most of the money betting on college football anyway. Would have 10-20x the money

>>7498604How does anyone pay 100k for a bitcoin that is only good for trading other bitcoin. Its not a company that makes money. Its a real world worthless currency
>>7498723Also I'm part swedish. My mormor came over as a kid.

>>7498734My God you truly are doomed.
>>7498733Why does anyone work for 100k USD? Its backed by nothing. The only difference is the dollar is guaranteed to increase in quantity and go down in value, bitcoin with never increase in quantity and the value is speculative.

>>7498593So if it drops to Zero can I buy them all for free?
>>7498764yeah except stocks are being used by companies to grow and expand. In that sense they are backed by the companies that you are buying shares in, as well as the state of the market in general. The robustitude of the market varies of course, but with Bitcoin literally the only thing backing it is people's confidence that it will continue to make them money. If that changes, which it probably will MUCH more so than the regular stock market, bitcoin falls. If it falls too much, people will probably jump ship. And when people jump ship, there's not a whole lot of reason for people to go back, whereas with the stock market it is based on the well being of an entire country and the businesses that reside there, meaning it will by necessity recover at some point.
>>7498769>you must be lying>my anecdotal evidence is proof!Have you ever tried to use coinbase? Or are you content to spew secondhand retardation?

>>7498764>See how retarded this soundsStocks as ownership in a company have intrinsic value. If the company is broken up, you as a shareholder is compensated. If bitcoin goes to zero you get to go fuck yourself. What can you coinfags not understand about this?
>>7498754> I don't follow your logic1 dollar , 5 dollar , 10 dollar , 100 dollar.versus, 1 bitcoin, 0.5 bitcoin, 0.10 bitcoin, 0.01 bitcoin, 0.001 bitcoin. "Only 21 million bitcoins " doesn't make any difference.Your house has a permanent value. If you get more dollars or bitcoin for your house it only means the dollar and bitcoin have decreased in value. If Dollar and bitcoin have increased in value you will get less of them for your house. top cap ( 21 million ) or bottom cap ( 1 cent ) makes no difference it's just a bullshit marketing slogan. Dollars just print more, bitcoin divides more.
>>7498593>>/biz
>>7498703Prove it.
>>7498748That makes no sense. There is no window. Bitcoin is secured by sha256. To say that 2 to the power of 256 is a large number is a huge understatement. Essentially you can never have enough computing power to 1) forge a signature on the blockchain and give yourself Bitcoin you were not authorized to have2) keep that like going long enough to continually fool the rest of the network which is continually checking the validity of new blocks against past blocks>Muh dooms dayAgain. Fiat is the same in that scenario. Why would I take dollars for goods if the world ends. Hell why would I take gold? We either make a mutual trade for the few goods anybody cares about or I take what I want by force. But this entire scenario is retarded. This isn't about Doomsday prepping. It's democratized currency out of the hands of the fed. Simple as that. At least understand the tech before you try to fud it, Grandpa.
>>7498593Doesn't it take an hour+ to validate a transaction?Whatever it is, its not a currency.
>>7498772>The robustitude of the market varies of course, but with Bitcoin literally the only thing backing it is people's confidence that it will continue to make them money. That's literally how it works with stocks. That's why they usually jump after a good earnings report is published, it increases people's faith that this stock will make them money. Also, companies have begun to adopt block chain tech to expand their business, so it's helping expand in a similar way. They're exactly the same.
>>7498704As compared to crypto that will allow you to get a sandwich. Outstanding.
>>7498600high interest rates are a good thing
>>7498593Anybody buying bitcoin is a fucking idiot or smark gambler. The smart ones bought it long ago and cashed out at the top
>>7498593Bought them for $2 each and sold them for $2500
>>7498698>it's smarter for me to take out a few hundred every month anonymousYou are dumb even for a maple swilling leaf, holy fuck KYS
>>7498601How would those NEETs have enough money to invest to make real profit without having a source of income first?

>>7498786
>>7498791kek you fell for a jewi*h trick. Enjoy while I laugh
>>7498770>You could literally change "btc" to "dollars" and it would be just as validYou can't, as the dollar is backed by debt and the petroleum driven industry. BTC is backed by hype and hype alone.
>>7498711Again this is a terrible LARP. You can kill both of your wives and be out in 20 years in leaf land. No way you have that much of a debt following you. Drown yourself faggot
>>7498784Yes that is literally how it works with stocks, except that they are actually backed by something other than average joe's speculation. In your own post we can point to the earnings report, IE state of the company, and not the state of the stocks themselves.
>>7498612Are you totally fucking retarded? APMEX accepts ether payments for gold and silver coins. Just buy 30 million in bulion without ever converting to fiat and just HODL the physical metal. If the taxman ever comes after you, sell off the coins in the exact amount that you "owe" and pay them off
>>7498779One cent isn't the lowest denomination of USD and houses go up in value for other reasons like higher demand for houses.
>>7498593that would mean that no one on earth would buy 1 BTC for even a penny. thats crazy.
>>7498796Saving money and not buying on credit is how you beat the Jews and make money on high interest rates. My parents are very wealthy because they lived like that
>>7498774Hold on

>>7498778>If the company is broken up, you as a shareholder is compensated. If a company declares bankruptcy, the stocks are often worthless.
>>7498598bitcoin is useful for money laundering and avoiding taxes.Something banks absolutely fucking love to do.It'll become very popular.
>>7498800On paper yeah. But probably 1% of investors even know what the companies they buy do. It's all emotion based trading. Literally no different.
>>7498800>we can point to the earnings report, IE state of the company, and not the state of the stocks themselves.Don't be retarded, stocks are just shares of the company, they're directly related

>>7498806wow, yet you still couldn't understand what it meant? How does it feel to be a complete moron?
I think the real reason Bitcoin will hit zero is because governments are going to fuck with it until nobody feels it's safe or stable enough to invest or HODL. Everyone will try to cash out at once, realize they can't, and it's gg no re.
>>7498770What can you buy with btc?How the fuck is the concept "literally" challanged? You must be the most stupid fuck to ever suck his father dick. Please kill your family.

>>7498593So when should we buy Bitcoin again?
>>7498821Do you think bitcoin acts like a normal stock?
>>7498790Because this shit was worthless enough at one point that an amount now worth millions was the cost of pizza money when these NEETs found out about it.

>>7498820kek what's a Ponzi scheme?

>>7498826Thanks man, i will look into it more before doing anything .
>>7498810no idea what you're trying to say lad>>7498809It's emotion based yeah but it's still backed by something in the real world, the company. What gives people confidence in Bitcoin? With stocks it's that the company will grow, make money, and try not to screw them. If people lose confidence in that company or the stock itself they'll drop it. But the company is still there and can rebound. The only thing that gives people any confidence in bitcoin is that it's made it this far and has made people a lot of money. So people invest in it. What happens when it stops making people money?
>had a bunch of bitcoin at $7 for Silk Road stuffFuck, I'm so butthurt about it. Even before it hit $1000 I would avoid reading about it. Now lately it is unavoidable again.
So how would the last transaction go you put 0 at the price and than put in the orderTry again boomers
>>7498593>Decent probabilityBoomer statistics.

>>7498602That will happen very soon. Only years. How the fuck would bitcoin go to 0? As it crashed more and more ppl would buy this scarce coin. Id buy all the way to zero. I'll own em all if u let me. Fuckin boomer nocoiners.
holyshit does half of the thread have no IDs wtf is going on?
>>7498593It will never go to zero. Lowest possible price are some cents. Who would sell their bitcoin for $0 ? Retarded nocoiner.
>>7498593It's another one of those> Muh blockchain is great without them coins, companies are just gonna replace their databases with blockchains and not use them coins.
funny, but bitcoin can go to zero if miners abandon it due to low price
>>7498613This is a very funny joke post. Thanks anon. Will copy pasta.
Bitcoin will go to near zero, but something better will take its placeBitcoin isn't all of crypto forever

>>7498624Cash is dying. Dont worry about cash. Just hold cryptos. I buy only from overstock because it takes muh cryptos. I buy gold and silver with it. Day it with me with _ _ _ _ you lose _ _ _ _ _. Think for a fraction of a second do these guys want to see crypto succeed? It's like Trump or that woman who ran talking about each other their going to say nasty things. They dont want success
How are these people so stupid. If it went to 0 I'd just buy all BTC for $1. Oh wait, someone else will want to buy for $1.1and we're back where we started
>>7500207>How are these people so stupid. If it went to 0 I'd just buy all BTC for $1. Oh wait, someone else will want to buy for $1.1Well shit if that's the case I guess every crypto and stock should go up forever!
>>7500112if you still dont get it this news are bad for bitcoinlegal sec regulated icos will cut btc out of equation because they will be traded for usd like other securities in usaeuropean futures will do the same thing usa futures did, because bankers don't need volatile instruments and without volatility everyone will loose interest in it making it bleed to pre-2017 prices for years

>>7500261>t. dumb straw man poster
>>7498718The US dollar was created for the sole purpose of being an unbacked currency, since the banks controlling much of the backed currency (silver and gold) charged the government insanely high rates for funding wars in the 1700s.If you really want to only buy backed currencies, you better buy silver soon. Shit may explode.
>>7498593Are nocoiners still trying to fight it?
>vanguard is optimistic about blockchain, but not bitcoinThis seems like a reasonable and well-considered position to hold.

listen when market-makers talk.vanguard buys and rents politicians.there is a real downside to crypto and the right kind of visibility will kill it.
