when you lock price on a Trezor, the Trezor Corporation buys that amount of BTC and saves it in their cold wallet on your behalf. If the price drops below lock price, you're safe and preserve the lock value. If it goes up though, you're essentially losing money because you're still locked in and Trezor will end up selling that BTC at market price, crediting you the difference, and clearing your balance. They charge a fee for this service.
