bitcoin was the first coin ever, and more shitcoins are only going to keep coming out, 150 last month, probably 200 or more this month.

all that they're doing is competing against each other, not against bitcoin. ethereum right now is the only coin that has any claim against bitcoin, because it's seeing huge amounts of actual usage, not just a bunch of late adopters trading on exchanges.

but no matter how many coins come out, bitcoin will only ever continue to be the first coin, no other coin will ever be able to have that title, and it matters when these coins are just as much about the social side as they are the technical side.
