THE ANSWER IS YES. IT WILL GO EVEN LOWER.

We are touching the 200 day moving average. It may dip more but anything sub 7K will be very temporary. Nothing has fundamentally changed which would flag any sustained dip under the average.

If tether fails or it is proven they cant back it, that wold definitely drive the market down for a while. Maybe a year. That hasn't happened though, so there is no reason to think the market will sustain losses below the moving average for any long period of time. That being said there are very promisinf projects launching main nets this year and cryptocurrencies in general are on the verge of widespread adoption as enterprise applications become realized.

Btw SBI is moving forward with XRP, which, whether you like or hate XRP, is a very positive flag for long term course. Financial institutions don't make these kinds of decisions without weighing long term prospect.

Listen all that bitcoin had going for it was speculation and most importantly trust. It's backed by nothing. The trust is damaged now. It's going to keep going down, and upward tick is a bear trap. Whats the floor? think of the price rhat most people wouldnt mind buying a bitcoin even if they had to wait for 3 years for it to get to 10k again or lose all funds invested That price is the floor.

It also has the fact that BTC pairings for other currencies are tied on pretty much every exchange. If altcoins have a major breakthrough, BTC will realize gains as well, even if it is just being shuffled for altcoins. Personally, I moved most of my btc holdings to ETH at the beginning of January, as it is also widely used in pairings. BTC and altcoins are not 0-sum, despite what every newfag will tell you. I just personally believe blockstream gave BTC a death sentence. But BTC won't be dying in the immediate future. Maybe in a couple of years.

I see. You've made some good gains from cryptos. Do you think maybe you're sort of out of touch or clouded by hopes and dreams as opposed to whats realistic. Break it down to common sense and drives the masses to invest. Crypto have no intrinsic value. It's stated in every white paper and people are adviced to invest what they can bear losing. So that means you're warned upfront that it's a ponzi scheme and no one is to be held responsible for anything. And now that theres been a massive loss and burn do you think people would approach very cautiously? It's like the warnings we get for smoking cigarettes we ignore them because there's never been a mass death. Imagine if people were to start dying in mass from smoking cigarettes and what it would do to the tobacco industry? Great that is exactly where we are with cryptos. You're in a moment in history, take a deep breath and feel the moment

Every financial advisor on the planet will tell you to only invest what you can afford to lose, no matter the investment. Stocks, commodities, real estate, everything. Mainstream FUD impacts crypto markets heavily at the moment mostly because applications have yet to be realized for the most part. Yes, I've been in the game a while, yes I've made a lot of money, I've also missed a lot of opportunities and made bad trades. I sold 10 BTC @$1,200. I don't think anything I've said here is unreasonable.

Also, currencies are required to incentive decentralized networks. Nobody is going to pay for the power and hardware to host nodes/mine/etc without incentive. The currency aspect of crypto will not go away for decentralized networks.

No there isn't always an average we're touching. 300 day moving average is almost no variance from 200 day average. 200 days is plenty sufficienct as a range for average.
