Their value against the US dollar is based on the price of aetherium so it aetherium drops your u.s. dollar value dropped even though nobody has sold a single altcoin.

For now the best strategy is to hold... until the Government's (India) realise they cannot just Ban .... the cryptos as this will have a temporary effect and the bounce will even be greater (seen this behaviour previously with the koreans and the Chinese)
