Yes the flippening until futures trading starts for Eth. Then Wall Street will drive Eth into the ground as well. BTC is being fucked with by Wall Street that is the reason the price is tanking - CME futures stopped trading last Friday and settle this Friday so the only way traders can now strengthen their short positions is to drive the price down further.

The entire crypto market is speculative. The only underlying value for Eth is cryptocats and ICO scams. The far bigger barrier for Eth is getting normies to understand what the value of a smart contract is - It took 10 years for even the most basic level of understanding what a cryptocurrency is.

Anyway the futures market is now edging towards long positions so if the BTC price starts moving up in the next two weeks it is 100% confirmed it is the plaything of Wall Street.

It is nothing to do with that - there are far better coins than ETH for transaction times and costs, I fully understand how ETH works.
What I am trying to point out is how the markets and big money works.
For example, the traders that use futures to hedge/strengthen their positions cash out parts of their portfolio in excess $100 million plus in single transactions.
Think about how that can influence a market with that level of money behind them.

I though I as clever and put my money into Monero but this is taking a hit too.
roughly 50% of the volume 20millionUSD of 55millionUSD volume is going through the top 2 of the 60 total trading pairs.
Those pairs are HitBTC XMR/BTC,
and Poloniex XMR/BTC.
Since you only see the volume on coinmarketcap you don't see if it is people buying XMR and selling BTC or the opposite. I don't have account on either exchange to see the trading view. I'm assuming since the price is going down that people are selling XMR and buying BTC which doesnt make sense. Can a non retard explain

How do you know? ADA has nothing yet. ETH has been battletested. It works. The fact that we're seeing congestion means people are using it. Ethereum processes more transactions than all other coins COMBINED. Couple that with the fact that 91% of tokens are built on the ethereum network....ETH is king and will claim its throne.

You should hope it does - because new investors will see that if BTC can tank and loose so much value why wouldn't ETH.(In before it has utility - 99.9% of the people investing do not know shit about the technology and will never understand it). Also, the new investors would reason why would ETH then not be overtaken by NEO or QTUM so therefore not investing in ETH. If ETH was now seeing a large gain in USD price which it is not it is just holding steady then that would indicate real confidence in ETH.
Getting happy about a flippening because BTC is tanking while ETH is not moving in price makes no sense - your holdings have not increased in USD value and the entire market suffers and people will question if to invest or not. The market needs new money to keep growing.

So, will this happen if the flippening is real?
>Alts will kill each other, 50% of it survive 50% of it die.
>Majority of people will measure in eth instead of sats
>A coin that survive will go into a a massive bullrun, especially if ETH goes past previous ATH. (in fiat value)
>BTC will not die but it will have same situation as Ripple (stagnating until ETH bullrun)
>People will start to believe that another top 20 coin can take over #1 spot
>more people start buying them
