Those pairs are HitBTC XMR/BTC,

Since you only see the volume on coinmarketcap you don't see if it is people buying XMR and selling BTC or the opposite. I don't have account on either exchange to see the trading view. You should hope it does - because new investors will see that if BTC can tank and loose so much value why wouldn't ETH.(In before it has utility - 99.9% of the people investing do not know shit about the technology and will never understand it). Also, the new investors would reason why would ETH then not be overtaken by NEO or QTUM so therefore not investing in ETH. If ETH was now seeing a large gain in USD price which it is not it is just holding steady then that would indicate real confidence in ETH.
Getting happy about a flippening because BTC is tanking while ETH is not moving in price makes no sense - your holdings have not increased in USD value and the entire market suffers and people will question if to invest or not. The market needs new money to keep growing.
