I used to use Robinhood myself but switched to interactive brokers. It's only like $1 a trade so it means nothing in the grand scheme of things. You pay for the free commission in other ways like inaccurate prices and poor order execution. Like lots of times I would have trouble selling in premarket/after hours in Robinhood because of the price not updating. As an earnings gambler that shit is important to me.

Also stock availability too. like IB has stocks as soon as they come out. I was able to get into FNGU right at launch for $52 while Robinhood only added it like Yesterday when it was $57. I would've missed out on a 10% gain with that "free" commission. You also miss out on OTC/foreign stocks with RH.

I might get back into Robinhood once options and crypto fully roll out though but for now I'm happy with what I got.

Either bet on the safe, "sure" things (MSFT - actually has an earnings report today so this is a great time to jump in) or meme it up and hope for the best. The former works way better for me as long as you consistently update your stop losses, stick to them, and don't buy back into anything you sell until it goes below what you sold it for.
