Benefits of FunFair's product: Fast, scalable and affordable to play through the use of FunFair's turing-complete state channels (which are able to run smart contracts off-chain), provides a variety of games, customizable for casino operators, allows for 3rd party game development using their platform, costs zero licensing fees to use their product, cheaper for a casino to host than centralized casino gaming servers, guarantees zero risk of a casino running off with a player's funds, and allows for provably-fair, trustless online gambling.

Casinos save money on operating costs and gain business from providing provably-fair gambling that is superior to its competition.

I know you’re baiting, but this will be helpful information other people. You ignored how FunFair doesn’t require casino operators to rent/buy their own gaming servers and FunFair's software will be licensed to casino operators for free (popular white-label gambling software usually costs anywhere from $100,000 - $300,000 and a cut of annual profits between 10-35%). Also, the fact that you are implying provably-fair, trustless gambling already exists without blockchain is a complete joke.

Players being able to deposit directly into smart contracts allows for completely trustless gaming; zero chance of being exit scammed or not paid properly. Provably provably-fair RNG exists outside of blockchain but does not guarantee the gameplay is provably-fair. In online casinos which don't use smart contracts, provably-fair RNG is only verifiable for the player after the fact, meaning that only after each play will the player be able to check if the generated "random" number is legitimate or used properly. In the case that a casino is producing a true random number, the way in which that number is implemented (the game logic) in calculating a final outcome may be manipulated, if that number is used at all. Of course if you know exactly how the number should have been used, you'll be able to see that you've been scammed (assuming you bother to verify each and every result on your own), but this doesn't change the fact that provably-fair RNG doesn't guarantee you won't be scammed in the first place. FunFair uses smart contracts to make it clear that both the RNG and manner in which said number is used is fair before even playing so that there is zero possibility of being scammed. Players know the exact rules for which the randomly generated number will be used and it can't be manipulated.

Fun's entire tech and business strategy is built entirely for online gaming. Other casinos that use other currencies dont have the same advantages on Fun's scale. ie: Provably fair gaming, instant cash out, exit scamming being impossible, working prototypes for games (really just a bonus, not that important, but still a plus), casinos will buy up and own large portions of Fun to operate, pay fees, pay out winnings, etc, token burn rate.
People will FUD saying it isnt being talked about by operators or considered, but thats not remotely true. There are tons of people who would gamble online if they knew 100% they couldnt get scammed in any way by the operator. Also the idea that someone can cash out in under 30 seconds as opposed to waiting 10 days for funds to be transfered is wildly appealing. Theres tons of people who have had 10's of thousands locked up for various reasons by shady casinos or their accounts flagged by their banks for a huge deposit. Imagine winning 100k at a casino cashing out into FUN, then going and liquidating it for ETH or BTC at your leisure. Itll be much more reliable to do this than the current system.
The biggest benefit this offers besides everything above is the easy access for small start up casinos to start operating that could otherwise never raise the capital to start.

The CO of this tech is a co-inventor of the Super FXchip for the super Nintendo entertainment system.

When Nintendo asked how he could make his concept for a 3d game work on the Snes, he said their hardware needed to be 10x better than what they were using; so he said he would provide it. This was basically a LIE to seal a deal with Nintendo while he had his foot in the door even though his team had no experience whatsoever developing hardware of that magnitude. That said, he ended up with a chip that was much more powerful than previously thought possible and Starfox was born.

Now, do you take the fact that this guy is potentially still a lying little shit and ultimately overambitious; or do you believe that he's learned from his mistakes from over 20 years ago and actually knows what he's doing OR at least gets lucky again?

Either way, I'm holding fun because I believe the project can solve a lot of problems including charge fraud, properly directing millions worth of unclaimed casino vouchers, and alleviating the trust issue between players and operators.

>this guy's career was jump-started with a promise he couldn't keep
He did keep his promise and exceeded it. Of course he wasn't alone in developing the 3d chip, projects on such a scale require a team of skilled individuals, with Jez San being one of them.

>Even if they know what they doing and have lots of experience, my main concern is the character of the Jez
Your original post was questioning if Jez is being overambitious and actually knows what he's doing, and the proof is right in front of you, as I stated earlier. If you don't trust Jez's character, no one is asking you to go on a date with Jez; focus on their product.

Also, your aside about technologies resulting from accidents does not equate to Jez San "getting lucky", as you likely understand. There was clear work involved in creating the Super FX chip, it wasn't happenstance.

ICE won't moon the price, that will happen when the first casino adopts it, then others soon follow for FOMO.

Jez (OBE no less) is a legend with a proven track record. I very much doubt he's in this on a whim for shits and giggles.

What price target are you anticipating EOY?

>> No.7094077

>>7093910
After casino adoption it will go parabolic. Its so hard to predict EOY for a number of factors. 4.4b current supply. ~6b locked up but Jez said they arent sure what to do with it yet. When casinos buy up mass amounts of FUN itll be hard to accurately judge how much will actually be in circulation. The addition to staking will work in a few different stages. Initially casinos will just stake it themselves for the payouts, eventually people will be able to stake FUN to support payouts and award dividends for staking. At this time you should expect a very big portion to be indefinitely locked up for these reasons. A lot of people believe 10$ EOY is possible. It probably is. But there will always be marketcap fags who will try to point out 4.4b-10b supply wont allow it to hit 10$. But as I already explained itll be almost impossible to predict how much will be realistically available at any point in the future. It could be 3b, 4b, 8b. No one knows.

IDK why people aren't pumpbing AMB to 5x-10x. Would take like, 10-15 BTC total to do half of the job before FOMO of the masses pushes it the rest of the way. Plus its actually a solid coin, so bag holders would be very hesitant to sell. Like XVG but a good team lol.

This is one of those projects i'm in on mainly because of how open the devs are. They're always willing to answer questions on the Discord (fuck the telegram, trying too hard to be something it's not), and don't even remotely try to spread hype. They just focus on the project at hand. It's like the complete opposite of Bitconnect.

This project may not be completely guaranteed, but it's a much better bet than throwing darts at a computer screen like some other coins/tokens.
