Whats /biz thoughts on B.A.T? Is it worth accumulating and HODLING for EOY 2018? We all know Youtube is screwing over their ad sense vampires and the sentiment for crypto seems to be only increasing possibly to a peak during this year where the market may rise to 3+ trillion market cap.

I've been hodling on to these bags for months. We don't have any target dates for YT implementation to my knowledge and it hasn't been shilled enough by big name youtubers. If either of these things don't happen by late May, I'm dumping

There he is. There he goes again. Look, everyone! He posted it once again! Isn't he just the funniest guy around?! Oh my God.
I can almost see your pathetic overweight frame glowing in the dark, lit by your computer screen which is the only source of light in your room, giggling like a like girl as you once again type your little $1 defeats the whole purpose of the token post and fill in the captcha. Or maybe you don't even fill in the captcha. Maybe you're such a disgusting NEET that you actually paid for a 4chan pass, so you just write the text. I imagine you little shit laughing so hard as you click it that you drop your Doritos on the floor, but it's ok, your mother will clean it up in the morning. Oh, that's right. Did I fail to mention? You live with your mother. You are a fat fucking fuckup, she's probably so sick of you already. So sick of having to do everything for you all goddamn day, every day, for a grown man who spends all his time on 4chan posting about BAT. Just imagine this. She had you, and then she thought you were gonna be a scientist or an astronaut or something grand, and then you became a NEET.
A pathetic FUDfag NEET. She probably cries herself to sleep everyday thinking about how bad it is and how she wishes she could just disappear. She can't even try to talk with you because all you say is "$1 defeats the whole purpose of the token..." You've become a parody of your own self. And that's all you are. A sad little man laughing in the dark by himself as he prepares to indulge in the same old dance that he's done a million times now. And that's all you'll ever be.

I'm sorry I can't seem to find the part where you show how the price of 1 BAT can exceed $1, probably because it would defeat the purpose of the token.

That was just a precursor to the shilling. The shilling will be when every youtuber talks about BAT at the end of their videos. When every youtuber says that you can buy it on coinbase or download Brave to support them. That will only happen if every youtuber first gets hold of a substantial amount of BAT. So it is necessary that the currency spreads right now. If the price went to $5 straight away then people wouldn't be as willing giving their tokens away to youtubers and newspapers. Also, youtubers wouldn't have time to buy in. Right now we don't want NEETs hoarding a bunch of coins. We want famous fashionable people with large followings owning large quantities of BAT. Those are the people that can bring people into cryptocurrency that barely knows what bitcoin is.

BAT has actual utility so it's not a ponzi scheme. What I am talking about is how BAT can spread most effectively. Or rather, how cryptocurrency can spread most effectively. Why aren't youtubers all over bitcoin today? because they have no reason to if they didn't invest in 2011.

There is going to be some form of automation right? The only problem I see with this is the amount of manual input required from the user. I can't see this massively taking off if revenue is only circulated through manual transactions.

I didn't realize it was automated. There's some fucking misinformation going around here. If I were to install this browser on someone else's phone, would the BAT circulate just based on their normal browsing habits? I can't imagine someone like my mom manually voluntarily donating BAT to websites that she likes. If the average normie can browse with this shit and BAT just distributes in the background, then I can see this thing taking off.

>> No.7057645

>>7057516
That is exactly how it's set it up. You browse as you normally do, and it will automatically distribute BAT to the websites the user spends the most time on.

>> No.7057647

>>7057516
It's not currently on mobile but as far as i know it either blocks ads, or you allow ads and set up payments where it can automatically distribute to your used channels or you can distribute it yourself via monthly percentages.

So Advertisers pay BAT Team then BAT Team pay end user and take a cut from that ?

Not trying to spread FUD but this system seems to 'rely on people relying on the system'.

If they can convince big players, to the moon it goes.

Also for Consumers/End users. AdBlock > Paying for content ?

They were direct links to posts written by Brendan Eich, CEO of BAT and BRAVE.

Short of a press release, it doesn't get any more official.

>> No.7057943

>>7057718
It does depend on advertisers moving to the system but it promises cheaper, more accurate ads for them. As for adblock, it is true that most people prefer that but brave natively offers that better than other blocks. So it is there with a single click if so desired.

Mongoloids on here love to shit on BAT when it is literally one of only a handful of coins with any true substance. It's use cases go well beyond "get paid to watch ads". It's posturing to become a platform to support content creators that isn't beholden to any big corporate gatekeeper. With it audiences can bypass, youtube, patreon, twitch etc.

The shitty distribution among a few whales during the ICO hasn't helped it gain steam but the real reason it never pumped early on was extremely poor hype. Eich was coming from a very traditional school of thought that you don't start hawking your project before it is complete. That shit doesn't fly in the cryptoverse and is why the price tanked so hard after mercury. This is something that has changed hard as of the past couple of months. The announcements have been coming in rapid succession and Eich himself is hyping the token on social media. This leads me to believe that he is getting some good advice on how to market to the crypto world now.

2018 is going to be a good year for BATmen while brainlet naysayers will stay poor.
