I have an sort of brick utility room attached to my kitchen, I'd call it an outhouse. Its single skinned and can only hear it up close. The two units are inside a small cupboard with air out/intake. I can see a form of a token ring network driven by blockchain tech, but you would need to solve reliability issues with nodes entering and leaving the network.
