Can anyone recommend me a decent book for learning TA that would be most relevant to crypto trading? I want to start making more logical and thought-out trades than drawing a couple meme lines

Learning technical analysis is a waste of time. Staring at charts all day is unhealthy, anon

Idk when bots do most of the trading and are based on technical analysis it seems to become a self fulfilling prophecy.

Also absolutely kills me when I hold through a pump and don't exit when I should, like what happened with stellar, when I road it all the way up to 6 k and all the way back down. I'd be up like 50% right now if I sold at the right time

Don't learn from books, go on tradingview and then google the type of fundamentals the people who actually get shit right use. Some TA fag here uses super guppy and things similar to TD sequentials. Other fags use Elliot waves and fib lines. A lot of correct TA use fib and TD sequentials on weekly bars, because it will tell you where the market is heading from a long term aspect. That way you can make your moves early and wait a month later to collect your dough. If you want to daytrade, youtube some people. Quickfingersluc is good and some Asian dude (forget his name), but they daytrade and the Asian does so on margin (think using 50k on margin, get 5% and get out). There's a lot of money to be made, if you're like a wage cuck, like many people here, it's best to hodl and have some funds to daytrade on the weekend because there's always something about to moon.

A lot of the TA stuff you'll see was developed for Fx not crypto. Using it for crypto won't be fully accurate. In saying that, SOME TA patterns are useful over the shortterm. Some.....

Just one piece of advice for crypto. This is a speculative bubble. Parabolic trend always wins. You can draw any trend and it could be broken for 'no reason'. Every time you don't understand why a coin suddenly went up just check the bottom line of the parabolic trend. Log scale is your friend.

I know the Asian you're talking about. But will not share because fuck these faggots who can't do their own homework. If you want to learn TA it is so retardedly easy to find info.

any of you guys have an opinion on the meme view pay subscriptions? There seems to be a free version of every thing the pricey subs offer.

I wouldn't rely on TA for crypto, the market is chaotic and upredictable, just NEVER buy anything overpriced, always buy during bitcoin season and sell during altcoin season.
crypto is not stable yet.

probably the best to start with to understand why people use what they use. Then move into fib books ect if you want more forecasting type style rather then a simple trading strategy. would also recommend

Trade your way to financial freedom by van thorp if you don't have any experience in system building

I have tradingview PRO+, I don't think I even use the features I pay for but it's not expensive. You can have more indicators etc.
