Fuck degrees these days lol.. Unless you want to work as a scientist or in law etc it is nt needed. You can make bank working fr yurself if you are driven enough and you wont be slaving for someone else.

Real estate for example.. The course takes like 3 days, commission is what.. Like 2.5% atm? AND get this, if you do a principal course (which means you can have yur own agency) it takes like 3 weeks.... and you can hire people to work for commission only kek, which yu would take half of just by being the principal...

That said, there is something like an 80% turnover f agents that arent aggressive enugh.. But bviously this is a decent example of people making mad money by doing a $600 course over 3 days.

The principal course takes a few weeks only.

Air traffic controllers. Highest pay of any traditional job without any post secondary schooling. Lots of psychometric testing and health examinations--can be a barrier. It's a very stressful job. High attrition rate. I've also heard they like to hang themselves in closets when they crack. The highest paid ones make close to 200k a year. The lowest paid one make 60ish. Median pay is about 125k. It's a difficult biz. But...if you can get into it, great.

Lots of exams too. Not for idiots.

Stop juggling decisions, choose one thing you will throw all your energy into, and do it. Don't be like a kid and decide you need to be a politician, an artist, a musician, a real estate agent, and do part-time wrestling. People get stuck because they can't commit to one thing and for how short life is, doing one thing successfully is better than several things badly.

Depends on state, but nowhere can you become a fucking broker in 3 weeks. Three years is more like it.

Commissions in my area average around 6%. That's if you list and sell. Most agents split it because one lists and the other buys.

I'm in real estate. I make good money. You can't just walk in off the street and start an agency in three weeks, though, tard.

Good luck getting a position as a secretary (unless you have perpetually been one for the past 10+ years) without a degree unless relying on 3rd-world techniques such as nepotism & cronyism. I'm in a major east-coast metropolis, and good luck getting even an interview unless you have a bachelors degree. Despite all of this you'll still start at 11$/hr. While most of these positions do not require a degree, in the most basic sense, actually GETTING hired to do one these occupations without previous experience is like getting Codeine containing cough-syrup in this state. While it is technically Schedule V, and therefore considered and 'exempt narcotic' and can be dispensed simply by asking a pharmacist with a 48-hour limit, good luck finding a pharmacy that will actually do this, seeing as most don't even realize that they are completely in the green to do so.

This list of careers remind me of front page Yahoo click-bait quasi-news stories entitled '100 careers that pay 60k+ and require NO education!'.

As an aside,

>Flight Attendant, good personality.
On Aeroflot, an additional qualification is being named 'Elena'. Seriously, last flight to Moscow three female, one male running the cabin service, all of the females were named Elena.

>> No.651149

you just have to know the right pharmacies. Go to enough in any city and I guarantee you'll hit one. This is coming from someone who's had to try to stave off horrible wds and has done this several times in a few cities. It's not impossible.

>> No.651154

>>651149
That's exactly the issue, just really using it to draw a comparison. Of course if you go to a small-town pharmacy you'll have a fairly high chance of success. Just like it's fairly easy to get a job in the surrounding area of the city in smaller towns as a secretary/medical office assistant/veterinary assistant, for a tiny office, and continuing the analogy, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens will treat you like you've come in with a forged Rx for Desoxyn, good luck getting even an interview with IBM for an office assistant without a degree, because your old teacher with a master's degree just got it. :P

Not a sermon, just some thoughts.

Ha no, army is salaried. You maybe work 10 hours a day, but you only get like 2-4hrs to yourself, which is just enough time to drink yourself to sleep and get 8hrs before you have to be up at 5am to get the day started again.

The only cool thing is guranteed paycheck and bennys, and four day weekends.

I would do the air force or navy, and go something that qualifies. You ain't gonna get out making 120k, unless you put in enough time to be worth that. No one enlistment guy will do that sorry.

Trust me,was in the army, besides for all the free money and drinking i did, i regret it.

BAS is a set allowance rate
Same as BAH

8 years means on a good day your brother is an e7 making 3630 a month before taxes,

3620X12=43000

Most bas is around 350ish, and depending on location bah is usually about 1200 a month

So he really is only making 61k a year in a perfect world without taxes and other bullshit

But if you account for the benefits of free health and insurance, its not a bad gig. Except if he gets out before retirement hes either going to become a bigger welfare queen, or shoot himself in the head after drug abuse.
