I've been in the game since 2014, all the bear markets have been tough but theres something different about this one... any other old fags will be able to tell you how different and scary this one feels compared to the others. I've always held easily with no worries or cares but im wanting to panic sell for the first time in my crypto history.

Go on, I'm curious what you mean.

What's "different"?

I find it kind of eerie and unsettling how BTC has just been bobbing back and forth between $13K and $17K for literally a month. Like it honestly doesn't know what to do.

Tbh this bear market feels way comfier than the China fud last year. Are you really an oldfag? BTC crashed from 5k to 2.9k and everytime it was recovering the Chinese decided to "maybe ban bitcoin again". Then they banned ICO's, tanking the altcoin market. Not much later Bitcoin went on it's biggest bull run in history and absolutely tanked the every living fuck out of altcoins.

Third, this isn't scary at all. If Coinbase, Bittrex, Binance, and Bitfinex all got shut down and funds seized.. then yeah we might be close to what the Mt. Gox crash was like but until then we are absolutely fine.

Look at the news. Banks and other businesses are increasingly moving towards crypto investments and ETFs are already being approved.

cryptocurrencies are not useful right now because none of them can actually scale yet, which is why you should be investing in coins that you think solve the problem. What BTC has done is place all their eggs in one basket, and that basket is a fucking pipe dream.

Its fake bear imo. Look at ODN and their little internal drama, just screams manipulation to drive prices down. Same thing with DBC, PRL, Bounty and others.

Im a prefork holder, got in around 2014. Moved coin for the first time to convert a little bit of BTC -> BCH. Its hard to see through all the FUD, but it feels like BTC is failing. What i don't know is if BCH can survive BTC failing.

I don't really give a damn about what the ETH price does. When 33% of the market nosedives to zero, the remaining 66% will follow.

That's even ignoring the fact that the ETH RSI is over 80 and now would be the time for a massive correction.

Not when the 33% is nosediving to zero because the 66% is becoming 100%. Bitcoin is shitty, outdated technology, and that's why it's bleeding market space to crypto that actually works.

This is not happening. XRP is down 44% over 7 days, QTUM is down 44.3%, etc ... Only ETH and various shitcoin pump and dumps are up over the week.

>ZERO on-chain scaling @ 300k capacity, fucking laughable. Even in a majority LN ecosystem (which is YEARS away at best) just the payment channels alone will choke the network

Actually they've developed a method of batching the payment channels to relieve blockchain congestion.

I dont know man It feels like the 2013 top but a little more drawn out since we dont have a black swan (yet?).
But honestly all the anons pedicting bubble to continue for 1 more year have me wondering. Im mostly in fiat right now to preserve my massive gains. The exocsystem really is so much bigger this time that there may be more steam but when the #1 coin is basically unusable and the fix is a year+ out it defys all logic to continue upwards (BTC still commands the overall direction of crypte, deal with it).

If youre in since 2014 you should be able to move out enough cash to comfiely wait out the uncertainty.

t. in since 2013
