You could probably wing it as a DevOps engineer, eventually. Get a job as a sysadmin. Find a small company that needs one (they won't care if you're not qualified). Get good experience doing basic sysadmin, have a healthy GitHub, learn Go or just become a weapon with bash/python and know all your cloud technology inside out.
